CARDLE - Daily Car Quiz, Vol.2 (No Spoilers Please)
Discussion
A technical 1 for me today, but it was a lucky guess and wasn't even the full answer! Crop 2 is a giveaway and my first guess of the model, though incorrect, would have been acceptable to Cardle. I don't think any of the crops give enough to definitely identify the full model name as I think the difference is only the size of the boot, but I'd probably have gone for that as my third attempt, so I'm claiming a moral 3 or 4.

reach out to me (as they say these days).
Or indeed 'hit me up'.
Certainly not a phrase that would be used by people who frequent this thread...not even by the 50 somethings who masquerade as 80 somethings.

The last crop contains a clue to differentiate the Cardle car from its sister model. The air intake grilles with V motifs were only fitted to the V8 engined Majestic Major. Though if you were enough of an aficionado to know that, you d probably have guessed the model before then.EmmaJNation said:

It's so obvious when you know that salient point. I'll remember that for next time! I only knew the big bum. But my VERY lucky guess saved me.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
