have never heard of this 'Hofmeister' wotsit...I simply read the model name in the photo. biggrin

Come on...are you really saying you have never heard of an M2 model of BMW? eek
The M models are one of the most famous and well known series of performance models in motoring.

Regarding zooming in and reading something...you are one of the people I disagreed with in a much earlier cardle where you said a name was easily readable.

I think we are just going to have to agree to disagree today, but I am still genuinely amazed and baffled.. laugh
I'm not very well up on modern cars, and I know this model but honestly wasn't aware of todays particular variant. If I had been, I agree the name would have been pretty obvious.
Now give me a Lea-Francis badge or a Chaparral and I'd be quids in! beer

PS I do know the other members of this performance series, but for some reason today's car managed to sneak under my radar.

I saw that side glass clue but didn't pick up on it. I fixated on the bonnet to wing shutline. That clue is more obvious looking through the car in the first crop for me than in the whole image.

I am amazed at a lot of people here today...and not in a good way!
We all know how Cardle works because we have been playing it for years!
We know you always study the first crop to see if there are any clues that can be easier seen by zooming in.
I remember having a discussion a while ago with people who were saying a name could easily be read when zooming in, while I disagreed and said it couldn't.
Today the clue can be easily read when zooming on both phone and PC, but it is not simply a 'logo' you are looking at, it is the actual model name!
It baffles me that somebody said they guessed the make from the clue but have no idea of the model. confused
With the vast knowledge that people here have together with the experience of playing Cardle, I think it is completely inexcusable to not spot the model name in the first crop. eek
Hey, I was drunk, give me a break! biglaugh

And here is today's little teaser from Dachau, with the clues highlighted for those who may have missed either the Hofmeister Kink, or the headrest embroidery or both of them. You don't have to mess around with number plates in Germany, because you can specify the second part yourself, if it's available, at no extra cost.

Make in one, model in two. Thought it was a series 3 initially.

Well, here's today's 'car'; and, yes, it's yet another Land Rover. grumpy
