The only car i miss is my MKV R32, i wouldnt want to pay the road tax or fuel bill for it now thou
i had a lease offer on a loaded M5 for £550 a month, at the time it was over 100k, i procastanated on it for 30 mins and suprisingly it was gone lol still regret that

Honda CR-X Si Exclusive. Rare JDM import 1 of 350 (Find another!) with camel leather seats, air con, moon roof.
It developed a warm-start glitch and as it was mainly used by my wife, she insisted on something more reliable.
Probably worth well over £20K now, swapped it for a Civic 1.4 hatch.

I spent 3 years driving a VW T3 Synchro 1.6 for work, a 9 seat minibus version. It was in cracking condition for a 6 year old outdoor centre bus as it was rarely used as most groups needed one of the larger buses. I had harassed the boss about selling it to me over a 6-month period and the answer was always 'not for sale'.
One holiday my breadvan Polo let me down - and I bought a 309 as a reaction, taking out a loan and all sorts.
Drove back to work 10 days later in my new motor to be greeted by the boss saying 'Someone has sponsored us a new minibus - that old Synchro is for sale - £600'....
Back then myself and OH were pre-kids, away most weekends walking, cycling and canoeing. A T4 campervan would have been all the shizzles.
I should have sold the 309 asap and bought me a Synchro.

5 Pot Focus ST when I was younger, sold as I started doing more miles, but in hindsight the money saved wasnt worth the loss
More recently an ISF, sold as I'd had it 5 years, convinced myself I fancied a change and started to get nervous about the availability of parts should it have gone wrong. It wouldn't have and would be worth just as much today 5 years later.

I kind of regret selling my 86. But I'd had it for 7 years and lusted for a change. What I didn't realize was that I shaped my car preferences around it. Do miss it but buying another one now wouldn't be the same. They're much older, have had more owners, values have crept up, etc. Mine was bought with 1 year of manufacturer warranty left & 30 000 miles, for less than a base supermini.

There's quite a few that I wish I'd kept (RS Focus mk1, couple of low mileage E30 325i Sports), but 2 in particular always come to mind
My S2000, which I'd like to have kept as an ongoing project. It was a tidy road car but I probably would have changed the wheels, lost the aftermarket roof and made it into more of a track-friendly vehicle.
... and my 6-spd twin-turbo Supra, which was completely standard engine-wise and in a less common anthracite colour. Haven't seen many like it since and wish I'd kept it.

£1300 with Green light insurance. This was in 2002. I didn't insure it until I was 21, it was sat in my parents back garden going unused.
Whenever I've sold a car it's been to put the money into a better car, or better house. So I don't really have regrets, though there are some that I should have bought. Most recently a independent dealer in Milton Keynes had a Focus RS mk3, it wasn't their usual thing, so their advert didn't really do it justice. One owner, low miles, packed with mountune parts inc a forged engine. Someone got a great car quite cheap.
I kind of read this as the cars that I nearly bought but didn't rather than the ones that I wish I had kept but in the spirit of the thread.
1990 Peugeot 205 GTi 1.6 in laser green - my first performance car and I adored it but it got written off after 18 months, I only had TPFT insurance and couldn't afford to fix it so sold it for £100 for parts.
1990 BMW 325i manual Convertible in Alpine White - had this about 18 months and in that time did a French road trip with some mates and owned when I met my girlfriend (now wife), so we did a few road trips/holidays in it, so lots of happy memories, it was immaculate and didn't miss a beat but I stupidly traded it in for a rather ratty Corrado VR6 for £1,600 in the mid-2000s because I wanted something faster/more sporty but I never liked the Corrado as much.
2004 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon in WR blue - did the Nurburgring in this one and a 6 countries in 10 days road trip, drove our first child home from hospital in it and went on our first family holidays in it but sold it for a song when we moved abroad.
2016 Volkswagen Golf GT TSI Estate - loved this car, it was very high spec, owned for 6 years and took it from 40,000-130,000 miles and it never missed a beat. Just a fantastic all-rounder: comfortable, quick enough, surprisingly economical, drove well, I considered "upgrading" it several times but just couldn't find anything as good for what I could justify spending, so I kept it. Sadly written off by a deer 18 months ago and although it's good to have a change and try something different, I couldn't afford to replace it with something as good and my mk1 Captur is no substitute.

Renault 5 GT Turbo - when I was looking at buying my first car at 20, there was an immaculate white one on a J-plate at the local independent garage in my budget. My parents persuaded me to go and have a look at a few more "sensible" ie newer options and by the time I went back to look at the 5, it had sold.
Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 - had the 1.6 and loved it but chosen for insurance reasons and the 1.9 was the one that I really wanted. I actually considered getting a 1.9 after owning the 1.6 for a year and test drove one but found it a little underwhelming in comparison, as my 1.6 was non-cat and felt particularly healthy. The 15" alloy wheels and the half leather seats though, I still kind of want one.
R53/R56 MINI Cooper S - Looked at buying an R53 when they were relatively new but the 6 month wait time on a factory order put me off, later I looked at an R56 MCS which I liked but with young kids decided to be sensible and go for a Civic 1.8 instead, which I hated and didn't keep long, so in the end bought a MINI anyway but just a standard Cooper, as I heard that the S was unreliable. So was my Cooper, should have got the S...
DC2 Integra Type-R/EP3 Civic Type-R - looked at these around the same time as the MCS but my insurance company wanted £3k to insure one at 24, which I couldn't justify at the time, even though I could have got a nice example of each in budget.
mk4 Golf R32/mk5 Golf GTI - these were my Impreza alternative and I really liked both but just couldn't overlook the performance and value that the Impreza offered at the time.
2nd gen Dacia Duster - a bit of a weird one but I have a bit of a hankering for one of these. I test drove a couple before I got my Captur and really liked them but I didn't want to finance and couldn't justify the extra money over and above my Captur at the time. Likely won't happen now, as I would want my next car to be a bigger upgrade.

1978 Opel Commodore B GS/E coupe, fuel injected 2.8 litre straight 6 motor with an automatic gearbox. I bought it in the late '90's and carried out a rolling restoration on it, it was a great looker and quite fast.
Of all the cars that I have owned, this is the only one that I regret selling. For some inexplicable reason I sold it in 2003 to buy a nearly new Audi TT, they were the thing at the time. I wonder which would be worth more these days ...
The car lives on and its great to see that it looks just as good as it did when I sold it. Here is a recent photo of it. Lucky owner, look after it!

Green gets me , big coupe, 6 pot, I would let the GSi go for that car lol.
