something that really makes me snigger or just plain angry is crappy cars that the manufacturers have added another name to to try and make it sound better.

examples:-

Metro "Ascot" and Metro "Kensington"

- theres no way you can make a Metro posh - you could super glue the crown jewels to the roof and it would still be a crappy rust bucket

others that spring to mind, the Corsa "flair" (yeah right), Escort "bonus", and the dreadfully named Fiesta "classic"

anyone got any more to add?

Fiesta Black.

I think there was a whole range of them, Fiesta Blue, Fiesta Red etc... They probably pad some Marketing Graduate a years salary to think up rubbish like this. If someone came to me with that idea would beat them to death with the stapler.

Just about any "special" edition has a crappy name. Does the Clio Ripcurl actually come with anything vaguely surfing related? A roof rack? Neoprene seats? A special board wax holder? Nope!

Some great ones in this thread hehe

MR2 was, in France at least, quite literally "crap".

Anything that was named after one extra feature...

Mazda 3 "mp3"

Fiesta "fresh" (yes, a pop out sunroof)

etc
