Came across two Golf "Europe"s the other day. Cue two motoring journos in another Golf (we were heading home from ehm, Wolfsburg) humming the intro to The Final Countdown in unison...

rofl What a crap concept for a car - looked like it had been in lots of crashes and the owner had played 'find a new panel' down at the scrappy.

My Escort is a 'Finesse'.

I certainly don't see any finesse when taking a corner.

To make that even more amusing i would like to point out that it is a rearrangement of Escort Td -- most of them are crappy ford diesels, they don't even have a decent engine!

Some great ones in this thread hehe

MR2 was, in France at least, quite literally "crap".

yes

M R 2... Merde. Hence why it was always called MR Roadster in France.
Same can be said for the Pajero in Spanish which, IIRC, means tw#t or idiot.

Wasn't there a Skoda Lauren and Klement or something like that... Laurel & Hardy maybe... hooo I don't know.

Mazda 3 "mp3"

Fiesta "fresh" (yes, a pop out sunroof)

etc

My dad had (a fair few years ago now) a Talbot Alpine 'Stereo' ltd edition, because the wireless (!) in it had...get this.....stereo sound!!
