Check the plates wink

Back to SpaF.

Hudson/Sadler in the Talbot 105 (#22, 3:37) chasing the Aston LeMans (#60, 3:56) at eau Rouge.

Heading for La Source to snap Phil in David Grace's Big Healey:

. . . he passed us here. More of that later!

Gracee's hide-out: big and smart Streamliner.

This seems to be the setup to have: Dennis Welch straight six looking lovely here.

Another Big H of Cooke/Foster. Best lap 3:20 so about 15 secs slower than our man Phil.

The Cooke/Brewer TR4 (4:07 so obviously there was something wrong) is for sale.

Loads of sunshine made our weekend. Everyone was surprised how cheap the entry and parking was. Also it wasn't as crowded as 2006. What did you think of the food hehe

Imaculate Capri in front of the F1 paddocks.

More to follow wink

There's 70s F1 to come: I've seen it already and I'm pretty pleased with it. Very difficult to catch a nice one with all that light! And backlit as well. Feck me.

John: best wait untill he mails me the lot. Than we can order a bunch and get a discount, is that an idea? Will everyone PM me your plates so the Frozen Speed guy can pick the right snaps?

Back to work wink What a difficult day BTW biggrin

First Batch - Some from the Paddock

6VT looked very much the part nestled amongst the race cars

Big budgets at play here

A triplet of pork basks in the great weather

Not surprising this caught my eye...

...and Fubes' too.

Loved this old thing

And a different take on the exposed metal look.

Some noise from this beastie

Favourite plate of the weekend...

Cars on the track in the next batch.

I throw in one of Wim's:

Healey blasting by at top speed.

Bert has some top ones as well. I have to learn him how to Photobucket and post this week!

This was such a great weekend, amazing weather, amazing cars and racing not to mention how cheap was it!! puts into question how uk events can charge so much to see so much less.

Great to catch up again Dinkel, such a shame Dad missed it this time round, but I recon our stories and pics will have him planning for next year!

Here's a few of my pics, loads more, and i know Matt filled several memory cards with his fancy camera, so hopefully he will post up a few good ones!

my favorite car of the weekend, well one of the fabulous Chevron B8's

My favorite pic of the weekend, playing with the black and white settings on the camera

F1 cars

Pre war, these were great, sounded like world war 2 fighter planes

More black and white playing

Maybe get some more up in a bit,
Cheers, Chris

Fantastic photos guys. Having heard that Diablo close-up I can only imagine how incredible it sounds at full zap around the Ring.

Now, when am I going to find the time to go... scratchchin

Great to meet you Dinkel and it's funny to only now realise i was eating spag boll on saturday night with a bunch of PHers at Davids.

David Grace shared our McLaren M1B with Nick Whale for the Sports Racing Masters race, winning by 57 seconds. David did a top job first time out in the car.

It would have been great to join you on the 'ring trip, but i've a CanAm car to build for the next event at Spa in a week and half so had to head back Sunday. Sounds like you had a great time. thumbup
