Just heard that the JDM cars are speed limited but this is based on the Sat Nav system so in Japan it knows where you are and if you go to a track then the speed limiting is removed........

How scary is that?

Mmmm, we have some serious work to do to sort that lot out for over here

Your mate is right, apart from the rednecks most Americans couldn't give a stuff about badges, hence why some 90's jap sportscars are changing hands for more money now then when they were bought new at the dealers. A badge is only an issue on this little island.
Which is why you'll often see big-power Supras and so on alongside the Ferraris and SLs in the obligatory garage photos.

The writer of this article needs to clarify the quote about the tyres re: "Tires were cut slicks, We didnt use full race slicks?"
That's not quite right sir and I think you need to clarify that since numerous persons have been quoting from pistonheads about the lap time@ the Ring been done on slicks.
I was there also and I am sure that this was not how it was translated.
So how about it?

Is this article written by the same guy who delivered that cake to Jean Todt on that second rate car program?

Talk about car crash TV, I even felt sorry for the cheating little napolean and certainly felt embarrassed if this was how he was going to perceive British motoring journalism.

is this the same fifth gear presenter who went for a ride in redvictor 1 and came across like he was doing 6-form media studies TV?

got i hate that guy, more annoying and apparently even less knowledgeable than the fat guy who presented Top Gear before May.

Well you've certainly never posted on another thread, so I guess it'll have to be here won't it?
