if only i were shorter. I have no idea how Clarkson could say that "it's a comfortable beast if your tall".

Huh? I'm 1.86m and wedges and Cerbera's are about the only T-cars that I'm comfy in . . .

It's a fantastic car and with the refresh still looks bang up to date. I would love to own one.

Compared to the Chim, the Cerb is definitely 'cosy' in a vertical sense - I don't mind letterbox windscreens at all (heck, I have two classic Saab 900s and a MINI hehe) but from the hot seat in TC's beastie I got about as much a view of the roof liner as of the outside world...

An amazing car indeed, its a shame I don't have access to it. It makes me want to move across the pond and adapt to driving a RHD just to experience it. I used to think there's nothing else out there that sounds like a high displacement pushrod V8, until I started seeing clips of the Cerbera and its 75 degree V8. Truly a unique sound, I would sell an organ or two for one... shoot, I would sell my soul for an indestructible, infinitely reliable one.

Aren't there rumors that TVR is going to relocate to the States? I know some Brits will take it to heart, but I for one don't mind this at all, as long as their design philosophies are kept intact and as long as future TVRs are more reliable.

One of the few cars that i seriously want that may be accessible in the next few years. all the other minor things like OH, house, food etc may have to go by the way side, but ho hum!

gorgeous looking cars and sound sublime! never had a chance to even sit in one, let alone be a passenger, but hopefuly one day cloud9

Good article I think.

I am lucky enough to own one and it's unlikely I'll ever get rid - no matter what !

The other thing about these cars is the owners. If you have a problem or need info they fall over them selves to help you out, just take a look at the PH Cerb' gassing station. An information gold mine.

Oh, and it makes my horns come out !bow

Andy,

Just find a local cerb and ask - they'll certainly take you for a spin. If you're down gatwick way, give me a shout - I'd be more than happy to take you for a spin (so long as you don't try to climb out of the door when I give it the big beans - it's happened before) hehe

Great article by the way. They're cars with passion.

Cheers

Im 6'3" and built fairly strong and I find Cerberas one of the most comfortable TVR's available

Ive always loved Cerbs and nothing ignites the senses like a well fettled AJP8 with sports pipes barking into life as you stand drooling

Fooking awesome and definitely one of the quickest cars Ive had the pleasure to be in....cant wait to get my hands on the fob for my mates Cerbie cloud9

Rob,

I'm not a million miles from Gatwick at all (45 mins) so I may well have to take you up on that offer. And no, i wont try escaping while you give it some, although a gentle build up would be hugely appreciated (not the best passenger) but I'm sure that can be overcome.

Cheers

A Cerb is most definitely on the shopping list. Just a few more things to get the house habitable and then the battle fund begins. Will be keeping the Audi though as lets face it I'm not using it to go shopping in. Already got breakdown cover just got to get the AAs Breakdown repair cover once it arrives. So hopefully soon enough there will be another noisy monster in the garage apart from the race bike to entertain the neighbours early on a Sunday morning wink

Oh bloody hell - I've been thinking about change by Chim for a while now and, after reading this, I'm going straight to the classifieds and autotrader... Thanks a lot PistonHeads - the new house may have to wait now - I *now* have more pressing priorities!
