Engine Conversions of VW Campers

Hi everybody, im currentley doing a subaru engine conversion on my VW T25, im using RJ Engineered Solutions parts because he has all the proper conversion parts, like a new bell housing to match with the VW gear box and to the subaru engine so you dont have to use a adapter plate, changes all the wiring so no dodgy splicing. Going to use a 2.0 engine so i get more mpg, its currentleydoing low 20's at the moment but with the subaru engine it will do mid 30's.

I was really thinking about it but would be to much to run and me and the misses want to go travaling, so thort the 2.0 would do fine and also if anything did go wrong with it the 2.0 is the most commen engine, anything i put in the van will make it quicker anyway , im also fitting 288mm disc's on the front and disc brakes on the back, should stop alot quicker, but i have to sell my CRX vtec to fund this project.

Just covert it to LPG. You can run your stove off it too.

Campers are great fun, Great to drive, great for sleeping in, if you no what i meen, real easy to work on, the lits can go on and on.

We dont have LPG on the isle of wight, even if we did ive always wanted to put a scooby enging in my van.

TSR's work is supost to be a bit iffey, but thats all ive herd. www.rjes.com much more refined parts, in my opinion.

For a European tour I can think of many, many reasons to take a Galaxy, Espace or Voyager instead....

the ability to not die when you have a crash with anything bigger than a wasp being one.........

and lack of heaters in winter is a second.

What - you don't want to have to wear gloves and a scarf inside your vehicle?

and trying to stop with 40 year old non servo assisted drum brakes is a third.
