23 with a nice house with decent garage with a Z4M... I'm jealous! Well done mate!
I can just about remember being 23, at which point a house like that was beyond my reach by a considerable margin, let alone having that and the Z4. Sterling work.

ha, I was actually going to put a disclaimer against the plate, I knew somebody would say something. I'm a fond reader of the Chav plate thread but don't give a st really. Wives name is Karn, she likes it.
Obviously I have another set for the MOT smile

That's me on eBay for an evening looking for a job lot....
How do you tell the difference between that and normal easily cracked tiles.

I would be interested in doing that to my garage as well

I'm not sure, I was going to go to a supplier and get some information but have not had a chance yet.
It would have to be strong to hold a jack with a single point load.

In the US at least, all tiles come with a rating tag in the box, with a PEI rating for hardness (1-5), coefficient of friction, and moisture content. The hardness ought to be 4 or 5, the coef of friction determines how slippery they'll be, and the moisture content determines how they'll withstand freeze/thaw cycles. All of this is explained on the tag, if I remember right.

But the key is that you don't install them with dabs of thinset that leave voids underneath. Like concrete, tiles are weak in suspension (as in spanning a void), but very strong in compression (as in supporting weight when they're well-supported underneath).

I am jealous of some of the garages on here, but the repeated use of the words 'man cave' makes my balls shrivel. It is a garage, or a shed. People with 'man caves' have issues.

Nice one, I will have to save up for a bit however.
Been looking at rubber tiles, they aren't cheap either.

Silverline Double Storage Hook 250mm

http://www.collierspaintshop.co.uk/silverline-doub...

Got them fron eBay however. They hold the BMW 18" wheels no problem. I just screwed them in to the brick with raw plugs.
I have some wheel storage bags too but have not tried them yet.
