There's only so much plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate plate that a man can take in one post, i think he got the idea, your particular little leap onto the bandwagon didn't even have the decency to be particularly funny.
well given I'd already got a smiley from him - twice actually, I think it's your lack of humour that's dragging it down not me. As I said, get over it.Hitch78 said:
I am jealous of some of the garages on here, but the repeated use of the words 'man cave' makes my balls shrivel. It is a garage, or a shed. People with 'man caves' have issues.
Explain fully why you have confused your opinion with fact, and why you wish to make an issue out of such a trivial matter.xPOW said:

Are you jacking the car up with the jack on the crankcase there? Isn't that a bit risky?
It's pretty commonly done with 911s. Some people frown on it -- but many don't. Remember, the car is pretty light. And in the case of my particular car, that's not a vintage magnesium case; it's aluminum. And as you probably know, there's no oil pan down there on a 911 motor like on a wet sump motor would have. So it's a little less risky than it might be.And these days I don't use a jack at all. I came up with a better way.

I've been in San Francisco for a few days and happened (randomly) to walk past this garage in the pacific heights area...
Nice. But if you want to get the black car out, the red car has to come out first - better to have the lift half way up so the red car can go past it and not have to move non? (assuming it is long enough for that).edo said:

Right back to garages (from aeroplanes) - what do you chaps do with your car magazines? Chuck them away? Me, I keep certain ones, in particular Motorsport and Octane where I have been subscriber for years. My wife has me keep them in the garage because they take up a lot of space - fair do's I suppose? Guess I could make a feature of them on a set of shelves...
I really like those Costco cabinets they're just what I've been looking for to sort out my 'man cave' bit cheeky to ask but do you recall what sort of money they wereGassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
