Podro's is awesome for a show garage, prefer something a bit more "worky" myself but it is stunning, no doubt.

However I feel that Benjy deservers many, many man points for the use of the conservatory to work on the car. Top marks.

You are right, most of the work takes place in the office upstairs, but I promise there are tools in the chest and I occasionally use them biggrin

Finally managed to finish a 2 year labour of love (that excludes the 3 years to build and finish the house in the first place eek), now I've got the garage I always dreamed of... hope you like:

Nice garage, but come on... what's all that disco nightclub lighting all about for the upstairs bit? Surely that's where you work on the greasy bits and store you MotorSport collection? confused ... you can tell I'm not the least bit into computer games hehe

Mine is just getting more and more cluttered, so I started hanging stuff on the walls to free up floor space.

Next plan is to raise the big air compressor up on legs so the small one will fit underneath.

And try and move away from DIY so my garage turn back into a car place, not a family adventure centre..... rage

It did finally turn into this, so it was pretty good fun getting the wife and daughter involved to help with with the tedious sanding and painting......

Ahaa, what looks like a Bedknobs and Broomsticks style bed is actually a revolutionary new ladder framed racing car prototype......hehe

Ah, reinventing the bedframe chassis, the forerunner of the ladder frame. Pioneered by the great Sir Percy Ware-Armitage in his daring but all too brief Land Speed record run around the Brooklands outer circuit 1909. All went well until the duvet got caught in the chain causing the rear wheels to fall off.

What kind of engine do u have in the Bedmobile?

It must be a very comfortable drive, especially with the side-mounted cooling fan gently wafting cold air over u.

I shall have no such problems, as they have invented Velcro since Percy made his valiant attempts. Here we are on a brief shake down run:
