Mine was about £1500 many years ago, they dont seem to have gone up much. here is the link where I bought it, great company to deal with...

Bought mine from Automech a well, so a +1 from me as well. I ended up with a full sized one and altered the ceiling to accommodate the car roof. Re-set the limit on the lift so I don't get "over ambitious" though. http://www.automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-75...
Oh, Buzzer: Thanks for the advice (ages ago) on your extraction system for the blast cabinet, finally got round to doing it on mine.
I wanted to go higher with the lift, but it would have meant BIG alterations to the garage, so I went for the mid height one. With a tall car I still have to be careful it does not hit the RSJ.... A while ago I had a Jeep on there and I took it a bit too high, and as you probably know, the lift goes up 25mm when you press the down button so it clears the lock stops
I didn't dare risk it going up and touching the RSJ, so I had to carefully let a bit of hydraulic fluid out so it came down a bit!
I keep meaning to fit some sort of stop to prevent it going too high.

Here are a few of my garage. The ramp allows me to still put two cars in there side by side, as I can drive over it. its also really versatile as I use it as a bike lift as well.
I have a workshop to the side with a lathe, drill, bead blaster, welder and an old milling machine, and a store above the garage via the stairs
Have you not posted this before? looks familiar I have a workshop to the side with a lathe, drill, bead blaster, welder and an old milling machine, and a store above the garage via the stairs

Winning for me so far! I have a workshop to the side with a lathe, drill, bead blaster, welder and an old milling machine, and a store above the garage via the stairs
As lovely at the display cabinets are with the colour codes units, to me a proper garage is multi-functional and needs to be used for all sorts of cars related nonsense from welding to painting to polishing to having impromptu garden parties if the weather turns. The idea of a side room with the tooling in it is great., really like that.
Mine is a standard poured concrete effort, about 10ft wide but about 40ft long... did debated creating a room at the bottom for the benches, tool cabinets and so on but having the full length is just too handy as two cars will go in nose to tail plus being able to quickly move the furniture around makes it quite versatile.
Would love a blast cabinet however... no idea why, just one of those man tools you need!

The blast cabinet is such a useful tool for many many jobs... for restoration its just brilliant. here is a before and after picture of some Webers I reconditioned. you just cant get this sort of finish any other way. Just remember if you do fit one though you need to filter the air to outside the workshop or you get abrasive dust everywhere... Mine has a home made filter unit underneath that is very effective.
I still do a bit of painting in there, but I used to hate getting over spray everywhere... So I fitted a large pair of fans in the ceiling of the workshop. They are 12v cooling and air con radiator fans off a Range Rover! These take air from the garage loft and blow it into the workshop, through the door, and out under the bottom up and over doors which I prop open a couple of inches. Its VERY effective and I get hardly any over spray doing this.

Sir, yours is my type of garage. You say you do a bit of painting as well as the blast cabinet - does that mean you have a compressor and airlines tucked away somewhere as well? The blast cabinet is such a useful tool for many many jobs... for restoration its just brilliant. here is a before and after picture of some Webers I reconditioned. you just cant get this sort of finish any other way.
