Haven't been this excited for a long time. Sad I know.
Not at all. We're all there in spirit with you brother ... keep us updated.(You lucky sod!)

The reason I post this is not because of the car, but if you flick through the pics, you'll see a) the guy has 10 garages housing a collection of mainly old Fords and bizarrely Marina vans, and b) the house is FOR SALE!
I guess he maybe isn't on PH though, so it doesn't count really.
Anyone in the Sussex area looking to move?

Now I've checked it out surely that's just about every petrolhead blokes perfect place; loads of garages, bikes in the house, full size snooker table, he must be single!
Too many wedding pictures and cushions for him to be single. But the wife is a the epitome of a keeper!!DoubleD said:
I think it looks like a row of council garages. Nice idea very badly executed in my opinion.
The garage block looks very 80’s, fine in principal but I wouldn’t want it at the bottom of the garden of my nearly two million pound house. It would be better screened from the house. Plus the drive surely isn’t deep enough to get the cars out without driving on the grass?
All academic!

Its a perfect house for the right person....you just have to find that person!
Me! I'm that person. Might need a slightly ambitious gofundme page to be able to buy it though. Actually I'll need 2 because I need to fill the garage. The 600 mile commute will be a bit of a drag though.Mines not as grand as some, but a decent double with full size workshop upstairs. Doors wide enough for the 570, and plenty of working space and storage for the MG project.
Keep meaning to do something with the floor but whilst the MG is still producing lashings of rust, oil and general mess, I'm going to leave it scruffy for now.

That looks like the estate I live on at Great Park. I'll keep an ear out for that beast.Keep meaning to do something with the floor but whilst the MG is still producing lashings of rust, oil and general mess, I'm going to leave it scruffy for now.

More excellence - I'm not going to lie, I'm incredible jealous.
We've just about bought another place, but despite my best efforts we couldn't find a decent house with a double of any kind. Gutted.
So then you have to find a decent enough house with the potential! That's what I did - one nice house, one ramshackle garage, now shaping up into one very nice garage. Unfortunately the ideal man-mix niche of an adequate house and mega-garage is the nice that house builders seem to ignore! We've just about bought another place, but despite my best efforts we couldn't find a decent house with a double of any kind. As part of my garage upgrade I have finally decided to sort out my tools. Being a bit OCD I wanted that pro look so decided to get my tools put into shadow foam. Having checked out the prices for professionals to do this and being shocked by the prices I decided to do it myself. Here are my first attempts. I actually think it looks great but it did take 6 hours to do this job, what do you think?
