we will be the judge of that, get posting..... chop chop
Took me a while to get time. Old stone built farm outbuildings. They are very damp but better than working on the yard in the rain and wind!

Excuse the mess.

Mines rather tight at the moment. Plans are underway to extend though.

2cm to spare either side of the mirrors when squeezing the tvr though the entrance. Less than 10 cm to spare above the eight when the lift is on its highest lock stop. Can’t reach the next one as the roof will have met the ceiling! That means the noble won’t fully fit underneath, thankfully it’s only the rear lip of the spoiler so not too bad. Just needs a lot of attention when parking them up!

The biggest downside is that this set up leaves very little space for working as there is so little room around the cars. Can’t wait for it to get bigger, hopefully will look a lot different by this time next year. Hiding at the back are lot of wheels, 20 I think. Work bench, roller tool box and the boiler for the house. I did get away wit fitting a huge wall mounted radiator so it’s nice and warm/not totally freezing, shame i have to use the main door to get in and all the heat then escapes!

I know this has probably been covered before but thinking of getting two of my bays tiled. Just want a cheap plain white/ gray tile but not sure where to get them or whether they will be strong enough .. any ideas welcome. My other bays I have carpeted which is great for the use on those but on these I was thinking of tiles as may be putting away wet etc. I won't be jacking up in there, its just for car storage

I started on a saturday and finished the following sunday, working most evenings until fairly late and then cleaning them up early the following morning. Then another half a day to grout. It was hard work!

That's more my style too... as lovely as the clinical spaces are, this appeals to me much more.

Sadly a imminent house move means I'm losing my garage, new place doesn't have one and grand plans to build keep meeting barriers.

Currently hunting the local area for something along these sort of lines to rent temporarily.

This thread now just depresses me!

I gave my garage the first tidy in the two years that we've lived here recently.

I haven't done much with the space yet, the house always seems to take priority. I want to eventually replace the kitchen units with something that's better suited to storing heavy tools.

I was all set to order a couple of sectional doors until it was pointed out quite how low and far back the internal rails would be, our doors are only 6'6" high frown I don't think a roller door would look quite right externally so I'm back to square one there.

Still a bit more to do to tidy it up, waiting for next doors roof to stop leaking through before I board the beams up but I'm pleased with it.

Good looking space.

What are those lights? I also like that you have some low down on the walls.
