After all this rambling on, I still don't know how much it costs. I'm not saying i'm interested but I wouldn't comparing the price of the extra kit with what car you buy for the money.

I'll give you an honest opinion.

Your cars look st, along with any other MR2/boxter based replica. Your an idiot for thinking it looks cool and that poeple are amazed at your would be wealth, anyone can tell it isn't real and when I see someone in a car like yours I am not thinking wow, my primary thought is "What a poor freindless wker"

Your order books maybe full, but this proves a well spoken point. The general public are idiots, ergo your customers are idiots, QED your products are st.

Untill you stop driving around in that heap and stop pretending to yourself and others that you are a rich and smart man you will continue to be labelled an idiot.
well i would love to see your car please post a picture perhaps we could meet in a car park and see who looks at who's
i have had this on the road for over a month and all i get is great comments from people!!!!
it sounds awsome drives amazing and feels a million dollars(must be £5 now) sorry for humor but i find that people who think other peoples work is sh*t have never created anything!!
I don't claim my car to be something it is not. My car is quite obvioulsy filthy dirty Land Rover, perhaps you could source me a body kit for a Cayenne and then I can pretend I've got something better and more valuable.

I doubt any one of your claims is true.

Gtsupercars is only after some attention, clearly by owning this replica it pleases him. I'll ask again, how much does it cost to add on the kit?

Do us a favour, that looks st, the bling bling wheels also look st.

The thing that I love about the CGT is actually the details, which you've bdised, nice one!

PS. The fact you love the attention you get from your fake car said everything I needed to know.

Not my cup of Tea at all, Doesn't even look that much like the real thing, Sure you missing quite a lot of width, length and hight from the real thing?, and in no way should you be using the GT name on it!! There is no doubt a lot of work gone into it but I would only ever consider it as an option if the other choice was Aids.

The only difference between this and the 355 MR2 kits is the age of the donor car.
Spotted this while looking about, At least these look like the real thing, Again not sure why you would bother because the moment someone realizes you will look like a cock.

OP if people are paying for this fair play.

Sounds to me like someone is compensating for something.

This thing looks and sounds like the product of a schoolboy with an overactive imagination.

I think I would accept it more if it was obviously a Boxster, with design ideas lifted off the GT, and integrated into the design.

Namely - wing mirrors, exhaust, front lights and (maybe) the engine cover.

You would then be able to market those individual, stylish designs to people who would want to enhance their Boxster.

But currently, I think looks grotesque, out of proportion and frankly everything it's not supposed to be. It should be called the 'Botox-ster'.

Kudos to you for doing it, but it's not for me...

Okay, honestly, I really don't like it.

You have found people who do like it and will pay you good money for it though so good luck to you for having a go.

From a practical point of view i am sure that the workmanship is first class, it's not the craftmanship i question, just the subject.

ETA. The one bit I have a serious issue with is the way it tries to pass its self off as a CGT with the badging. Bad form. Those that know will spot it isn't at 100 meters, those that don't will have been duped.

It seems that the people on this forum(those that knock others) are so blinkered that they have there little tuned cars, with £5 body kits and bolt on chrome they cant see the workman ship involved in such a project, the paint probably cost more than most of above mentioned yet they put ther 2p in and think they are qualified to comment on such skills that it took to produce a car like this!!
For god's sake man, know your audience. This is PH, not Max Power. Most of us own sports cars (real ones) of a kind. The whole site was born of a love for TVR. It's also most definitely not a site for willy waving.

gtsupercars said:
we in fact have a full order book for these kits and 2 cars to be produced so we are not looking for customers we were looking for opions from other like minded people who might appreciate hard work and a challenge,
Super, so don't subject real enthusiasts to such a mess. Go live a happy life.

God, you really have no idea about PH do you? It'd be more relevant on a Kung Fu forum.

i appreciate the nissans, fast fords, peugots, fantastic paint work lambo doors, destinctive body work etc etc, i dont go on there threads and go well i dont think thats cool, because i know what hard work has gone into these builds,

Guys, give the chap a break FFS. Some of you may not like it but hey, some will love it.( not me )

Some constuctive criticism is good but wholesale sgging off is not. ( although it is good fun )

Constructive comments such as:

Get website working
Change those god awful wheels
Maybe a more subtle colour may help ( Black )
Should have posted about it, once it was completely finished

well you will hate our other car

what people pay is there business as the donor cars start from around £4000 on ebay with damaged panels so a complete car could be as little as £15000 if done at home, up to one like mine on 2003 3.2s with all the porsche (not mr2)extras pcm,sat nav stabilitymanagement etc etc.Worth only what some one wants to pay but insured with specialist company and valued at £45000.

My view is that the car looks a little ropey and a waste of a good boxter. However what seems to be annoying the OP is that people don't appreciate the workmanship that went into the car which I don't think anyone is saying, no matter how ste I think the end result looks (and I think we have all seen much worse) it is clear that a lot of work went into it, perhaps misguidedly so but still a lot of work

I really would like to say I like it,(although it's not my cup of tea) more so that it's a local company to me and you have to admire anyone putting a lot of hard work into such a project but I have seen this car and in my brief glance I would have to say:

The front seems far too short compaired to GT
Windscreen too steep and tall
Roofline too high which makes car look out of proportion.

If there is anyway you could lower the screen I think it would make a world of difference. I know thats easier said then done but just my opinion.
