Probably stretched.

There was a loud, low Golf that had Bentley rims and stretched tyres on round where I am. Not seen it for a while tho.

But is it an M-Sport?
True and to be honest the rear one looks ok. Not a fan of them on the grill though, personal preference i suppose smile
I have a slight issue with M badges.

Just bought a Le Mans blue E90 320D for the Mrs. Really nice car actually, love the colour and it's got all the M sport bits and pieces, black alcantara interior, previous owner paid quite a bit to have all the M Performance bits put on at BMW such as the fancy exhaust system and suchlike.

I've added the gloss black front grills as all the trim on the car is gloss black and I hated the chrome grill, I've also had the rear windows tinted in the same style as the newer F30 M sport cars.

But... the car has an M badge on the front grill and also on the boot.

I've just completely debadged the boot lid and now the Mrs had requested that the M badge is reinstated as she thinks it looks 'too empty' at the rear and liked the badge.

Now, I know people on BMW forums absolutely foam at the mouth when people fit M badges to any vehicle not strictly containing an M Power engine, but other people seem to think it's fine especially if your car is an M Sport and is littered with factory fitted M badges inside.

Even BMW have started liberally applying M badges to newer models the same way as Audi use the S Line badges.

Decisions decisions... smile

Spotted a weird bit of rebadging this afternoon whilst doing the shopping.

Blue 2015 Fiesta ST with both front & rear "Ford" oval emblem badges replaced with "Aston Martin" gel ones instead.

I can only assume this is intended as a nod towards how some of the Ford range have a front grill setup somewhat similar to that of the DB's?

I've seen one like this in Hertfordshire - I really hope there is only one.
Somewhere a Bentley owner is probably wondering what happened to their wheels.

It was my honour to witness the ultra exclusive BMW MS

It does raise the question, why someone who cared so much to buy badges for a car they didn't have, would then go on to cock it up. Mis-misbadging if you will.

Almost certainly, given the vast price of them.

Found this in my Google Photos while looking for the second image. No idea why I saved it and it's not actually misbadged, although you could be forgiven for thinking so. The Mitsubishi Debonair V 3000 Royal AMG:

Then there's this travesty:

Is that the Nazi eagle emblem on the rear bumper of the bottom car?

Yep, to my eye that's a Parteiadler with the swastika changed to a BMW logo. Blimey.

I'm viewing this on a phone screen so perhaps I'm being kind but could it be an Aquila (Roman Eagle)? The Nazis were fond of misappropriating Roman regalia including copying the eagle.

Had a quick google, and it's the Nazi one (google 'bmw eagle sticker'). A shocking amount of vendors out there.

I checked & they were indeed solid.
