The fake M5, that dealer (My next car) is just down the road from me, the biggest bunch of crooks going.
I called and arranged to look at a 10 plate GTR from them a few years back, it was clear it was damage/repaired but unregistered and badly at that just from the test drive.

When i pointed out the crease in the inner wing they got very upset and a whole load of their sales guys suddenly appeared stinking of weed and surrounded me and ushered me off the forecourt.

Remarkably they had the cheek to call me back a few hours later and offered me some silly low price to buy as it is.

I know of several people who have purchased cars from them, all with some kind of hidden history

Really odd mix of stock... Micra banger for £290 all the way up to a £170,000 Fezza. Seems to me like something fishy going on there, wonder if they also have a laundrumat business? .

According to Google it’s the M Performance Power and Sound Kit which is a remap and louder exhaust. It sounds like it’s the same map and exhaust that’s fitted to the M140i as standard but not to other models in the range with the same engine

Yep, that's the one. Takes it to around 360bhp / 500NM and includes a new cat back valved exhaust.

All warrantied by BMW too - really looking forward to it.

The logo on the plates and in the ad is in the same style as the SniffPetrol banner. Maybe the whole thing is just an elaborate gag for the next series of Grand Tour?
Or Richard Porter thinks that if Mike Brewer can get in on TV presenting then he's going to get some car dealing action

Apart from the "why would you?" the V8 badge isn't even on level!

Didn't there used to be a dodgy dealer in that area that was connected to Motorhub? They seem to have a similar business model.

Why did keighly car centre (or keighly something spring immediately to my mind?!

They were good at dressing up a banger as I recall.

Terrible rep across various forums .

i thought i had clocked one on my travels today - somebody badging down - but it seems you can actually get a bmw 116d with the big brake kit similar to those on a M135i/M140i

If you spec the M Sport Plus package on a 116D you get the blue callipers but I didn't think you can spec the larger discs as well.

What's the point of speccing huge M type brakes on a 116 ?

Were they huge brakes, or were they just painted callipers?

A fad I've noticed is to paint 3 strakes of the grille in the M Sport colours (which looks st btw). The most recent example of this was a 'M320d'. With a horrible, badly positioned 'carbon' M badge on the back. Just utter, utter ste!

I mean.....
A) do the drivers think it looks good?
B) do they think they are fooling anyone?

It just screams tackiness!

Maybe no-one belived the owner, so he stuck the badge on
If you were going to stick it anywhere wouldnt it be lower right
At least the number plate fits the recess
