Agreed, there are some interesting shapes and touches in later TVR interiors but the poor quality makes me discount them as beautiful.
Hmm, ever looked a bit more closely at mass market interiors? hehe Some TVR interiors may look a bit worse for wear because unlike most other exotics they're used for what they were made for... driving

This has had 110,000 miles under its wheels when I took the pic (only part changed was the dashboard panel):

Not sure whether a Zonda or Spyker wouild have fared better over that distance, and I don't think we'll be likely to find out... hehe

Oh, and the only 'loose carpet' I see in that Cerbie pic is a carpet overmat... confused

I'm surprised at the lack of classic mentioned on this thread. In an effort to redress the balance somewhat:

'Stang - how many years do those 'dial pods' pre-date the Tuscan?

550 Spyder - Simple elegance

Mini - Functional simplicity

250 California - Beautiful

Do you actually know the meaning of beauty! that is one of the most bland interiors I have ever seen!
Each to their own I guess. I like it, simple and elegent comtempory design with nice materials. Dosent distract from the road, very functional.
Nice materials ? they are no different to anything else on the road , they fall apart quite nicely witha plastic trimtool and a phillips screwdriver

I've always liked the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA's interior.

And the Maserati Gran Turismo.

Basic and functional , just the bits you need with no tinsel .. well apart from the KG works instrument cluster

I dont have a pic but the 'cock pit' of any modern Zonda looks pretty damn good.
Yup...pretty special!!

I'm with you on that! As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of the Zonda. Beautifully crafted extravagance. Pagani all over really.

In fact, has anyone seen the Zonda R interior in this month's Evo magazine? It's nuts and has a big digital dash with an analogue rev counter in the centre of the steering wheel. Brilliant!

I've always loved the look of Zonda's, but having seen that interior I now know I wouldn't be able to drive it more than five miles without being sick. That interior really does my head in!

Too many modern cars are too fussy and cluttered. I think the Cerbera has it pretty much nailed - everything is sited for the driver.

But that's a very fussy and very cluttered steering wheel!
What about the loose carpet and worn trim. Come on we all love our own cars but how does that compare to a Zonda.
Very well I'd say lick. The Zonda I have a love/hate relationship with - sure it does ooze passion and pride of workmanship, but it's way way way too busy and over the top, there must be a thousand different materials, textures and colours all in that tiny space.

The Cerbera manages to be swoopy, sinister, space age, leftfield and well resolved, intimate and businesslike at the same time. One of the greats of all time and to me Nick Coughlan will always be a hero for creating it. thumbup

Of course that doesn't really excuse some of the trim colour combinations owners specified...
yes wot he sed!

Cerb gets the thumbup here too!
Excellent! Have another one then cloud9

I love them both, which tvr is the bottom interior?
