does that mean that i can phone up now and get 15% back from the £2600 i paid last july?... (as the article seems to suggest: 'anytime')
Your membership to the forum can be added and then upon your renewal the price would include your discount.

Dan.

personally not convinced by Flux

i just got quoted over £1500 more for my insurance on my 350z aged 22 (for young drivers, it would appear Admiral is best from my experiences)

Well I just rang them, and even with the discount got quoted £100 more than my current insurer, whom I found through Gocompare.

1990 Mazda MX5 1.6 (import), 4 years NCB, 22 years old.
If you would like to forward me your details I can get the quote looked into,

Dan.

Noooo. I just sorted mine out with them at the beginning of February weeping

I can highly recommended them though, they have always been very helpful.
I just purchased mine last week! bks.

+1 on the recommendation, couldn't be happier.

I just changed mine on the RS6 and tbh none of the brokers got anywhere near what I eventually paid - which was the insurer with that horrific advert with the naked bloke jumping about!

I will certainly give AF another try though come renewal time! thumbup

....(if the papers are to be believed) you're talking about the company who wouldn't insure said naked bloke because he's a musician!

I used Flux back in the 80s when I was a teenager running 5+ litre Yank V8s whilst still on 'L' plates. £250 a year - ahhhh those were the days.

They'll certainly be my son's first call when he turns 17 later this year!

Nice one PH!

Personally I dont like Flux very much , they have quoted me 100s higher than equivalent 'specialists' including Chris Knott and A-Plan. I think I will give them another try on the back of this offer though.
They quoted me £1170 on an Impreza P1 for fully comp and A-Plan £480...

Hi everyone.

Just a short introduction. I’m Daniel. I’ve worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 20 years now.

If any of you guys on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know.
Dan - how about cover that includes Nurburgring TF days? (not track days) - can you do that?

I renewed mine last week with AF. I agree they were very helpful, was on the phone for ages while the guy tried to get me a decent quote. My renewal (with a different insurer) had gone from £560 - 723 ??. AF got it back to £540 including recovery which I never had before.

Strange question, don't have any no claims to speak of but I have been on my other halfs direct line policy for a number of years and accumulated their named driver no claims, would you accept that as no claims?

Just got my quote. Very pleased! £100 less than the nearest other quote and less than I paid last year despite a new claim!

Highly recommended!

AF - great when you want a low quote and you're new business, a joke when you have to make a claim, and even funnier when renewals come around.

I used them for a few years, then got fed up with the "Yes sir, that's the best renewal quote we can offer... oh, but if you can find someone with one that's lower, we'll price-match it"... line that got trotted out each time.

Not if they were the cheapest place on earth, ever.

Im with Flux again this year (I like the magazine) got quoted much the same for this year as last, got a quote £200 cheaper elsewhere, phoned up to cancel and flux beat it so I stayed. I hate renewal prices, why not just say "we're hoping youre too lazy to check around and will just let this roll over"

I only had that once, every year since i've been unable to find cheaper...
