Anyhow, after reading a few posts in another thread I thought I'd do a little digging. And what a laugh I've had too so in a slightly tong in cheek manner and I wanted to says thanks to Martin, aka 'S Line Luxury'. I've had a real good time reading your replies, so much so that half of my lunch is now on my keyboard and monitors

Saw some of the 'wedding' thread earlier and did make me chortle some what. The A3 is a nice car but the way he goes on you'd think it was a Drophead Rolls.

I suspect you are right, although none of these are out of context, none are hacked or part quotes. And from their current 21 posts, it seems like a large percentage.

There is something odd about Audi fans though. They're like Manchester United fans. For some reason it's not enough for them to merely support their favourite team. They want you to support it too. They'll have a set of rehearsed arguments about how 'we' are the unassailably best team in the world, and that no-one else should have any business supporting anyone else, and that after all the effort the marketing department and youth school have put in you can still find yourself able to support Wigan Athletic, you've somehow personally let the great Sir Alec Ferguson down.

And if you don't fall for their messianic zeal, they'll get all angry and threaten you with violence.

Even Chelsea fans (and I hate Chelsea) are perfectly accepting of Londoners supporting Arsenal, West Ham, Spurs, Fulham etc, but if there's anyone within a 100-mile radius of Manchester supporting anyone other than Manchester United, the United fan gets all furious.

Same with Audi fanboys. Suggest that other cars have other qualities that you prefer and they explode.
