Currently have:

OO04 PHD On my Mini Cooper S, my initials.
OO09 PHD On retention awaiting my 2nd car.

NU10 RNA On my wife's BMW (Lorna).

Planning on picking up other OO0* PHD plates as they come up because I may one day buy a 3rd car.

Nothing yet. 25 years with a TVR, it not feels a bit weird. (But my bad back has finally done for me)

I agree, here's one of mine, bought just because I like it......

I like a big wing myself. But then I've owned a Noble M12 and an Esprit Sport 350, both of which have big fk-off wings on the back !

And I had T666 ESP on my Esprit, but it went with the car when I sold it.

I personally think it looks a lot better spaced properly, classy and understated.

Looks much better without it bunched up!

Cracking plate though, spotted this on eBay the other day too!

Your name starts with an O and middle names start with the number 4 - excuse me asking, but what's your name. Is it foreign by any chance?

Is the plate spaced as though there was a band (GB, etc) on the LHS? (Looks more pronounced on the front plate but may be my eyes playing tricks).

(Note: That really is an excellent plate!)

Agree about the band there - I've put that reg into proplates and it looks a lot more centralised than it does on the OPs car: https://proplates.co.uk/products/custom-number-pla...

I'd be tempted to put that on a slightly smaller plate, same height, same character size etc. but losing some of the blank space either side. That way it could be centralised a bit better as well to make it look less lop-sided.

Not sure if it would work out with the front being on a plinth though but the rear would be fine.

That’s what I’ve done with mine, standard size on the front due to screw holes in the bumper but on the back I’ve got a slightly shorter plate.

Lotus have just announced the name of their new model the EMIRA

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-56906504

I managed to pick up EM11RA with a random letter on the end, any idea what this might be worth?

Guess you don't worry about data protection? Would you still run the plate when you're an old fart? biggrin
