Looks like you may have overdone your modeling landscape with the Goodyear Blimp

Is there anywhere in the UK like this where we could do a PH slot car championship?
I'd be more than happy to run a PH Championship, this is my club track which is just under 150ft:

its good but the paddock club looks a bit lacking... wink

Check out The British Slot Car Racing Accociationfor tracks all over the country. Most would be happy to host a race meeting for PH mambers.

Hi
This is not a 'Scalextric' circuit as someone mentioned. It's been hand-built as far as I can see: the pickup tracks are 'copper tape'. I built a track using such tape in the late 60s.
The cornering slots are a wonderful addition but again they first appeared in about 1958 when hand-built tracks began to appear for slot-car racing and were referred to as 'car-line' corners. I have never seen them on any modern track until this one.

Most slot-car racers don't like them for some reason but they are the ultimate in track design.

What an excellent circuit.

Can you explain what you mean by cornering slots, or tell me where to look?

'Cornering Slots' = the slots which go round the corners. (As apposed to those which are along the straights)! - or simply 'the corners' >> referred to as 'car-line' corners. (They're not a new idea). I think they are superior to the parallel slots as produced by 'Scalextric' -type circuits.
