Seriously, any one who says that the 100HP Panda is st is completely missing the poing. It's a proper little old school hot(ish) hatch. Suspension is firm (to say the least), but as a drivers car it is excellent. A proper little PH hero in my humble opinion.
+1

Excellent little cars.
+2

I own one, and it's fantastic. There's some second hand bargains out there, don't spend too much.
+3 I have one too for my daily smoke and its soooo much fun on our country lanes. You know what the best bit is? Nobody else gets it. They see it as a stty panda. That’s just fine for me as it’s very off the radar but delivers great thrills for peanuts. Infact I would say I enjoy it more than my other cars on the road as its limits are far more accessible without having to drive like a lunatic or pay to go on a track.

Mines just 3 years old and its just had its 3rd year service and MOT - £150.00 for service and MOT at fiat main dealer! Fantastic

I wouldn’t buy new though - they suffer serious depreciation and I hate losing money!

They can be had for £5-6K for a 2 year old model, seriously considering getting one of these in a while. They're like little go-karts and definitely not something that everybody gets, a bit of a marmite car but I love 'em!

If the bluetooth system is the same as the one in my grande punto, then it's excellent. Works with my iphone like a charm, plays music directly and cuts it out during calls.

Evo absolutely love it...

The bluetooth pairs with an iphone no problem, and it cuts the radio for calls. But it certainly doesn't play music though - not the same system.

That's a bit of a shame, but I somehow don't think I would care if I were driving one... biggrin

I don't see the 100hp as a competitor to a fiesta or i30, I think it's much closer to something like a Twingo GT

+4 I love mine. it has been poor in the snow but I think that's the light weight combined with relatively wide tyres.

Highly recommend.

I love my 100hp too.

I'm 6 foot 5, and I'll have to admit the driving position is pretty st. Wheel is miles away, pedals really close. Ride is also fairly terrible. Having said that, I love the looks, it's a hoot to drive and dirt cheap to run. Good times!

No, it was a standard Panda and it didn't roll. It tipped over when Walshy got out of the passenger seat and asked the driver to repeat the high speed bend solo.

These were available new for around £7.5k last year so that seems incredibly steep.

Fiat are offering finance on the 500 Abarth for £199 p/m at the moment.

Just looked that up...if I wasn't off to Sydney in September I'd go down tomorrow and sign on the dotted line!

I did a driver training day with a guy called Mike Cooper. This guy has driven pretty much everything performance car wise. Those that know him, or know of him, understand how phenomenally good he is at driving.

His daily hack is a Panda Sport and he raved about it.

The Fiat supersaver website was selling them brand new for £7300 18 months ago, so if you think over 9 grand is a bargain I would think again.
If that was for a 100hp I would've bought one straight away! I had one as a courtesy car, and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me a lot of a 205 GTi - light and (relatively) high BHP and great handling. Much more fun to push it in a small low power car than cruise in a big welterweight (including new small hatches like the corsa etc). There's a hell of a lot to be said for a small hot hatch in terms of fun, and as for people saying 'no bluetooth', erm... right forum? :-)

Either you're pissed or it's me. It could be both to be honeswt. Anyway, I'm having trouble working out what that bit of your post is meant to mean.

I remember 100hp on that website being around that price, why the huge price increase?

Yes it was as I posted it at the time and actually a few Pistonheads bought one, Thats why I couldnt pay £5-6K for a 3 year old one, its just daft.
They were about £9k new on the site last time I looked, no idea why they jumped up so much. Just keep an eye on it.
