Perfect. Everything falls to hand so easily.
I had four of these, a 330Ci, a manual M3, an SMG M3 and a CSL. It looked great at the time. It looks dated now.

(those paddles look out of place too)

Coming from an NA MX5 I can confirm that this interior very modern. laugh

To be fair to it, it is a 15 year old design! Ergonomically, it's a brilliant piece of minimalist design.

That old screen with all those buttons was not great from an ergonomic point of view. Nearly as bad as an Aston from that point of view. iDrive was a big advance.

I thought we were looking at nice dashboards, what's dated got to do with anything ? most of the dashes on this thread are dated.

My old Brera in white and Biscuit felt like a fairly special place to be:

It's quite a nice dash. Pity about the driving position and the drive though.

I never had an issues with the position if im honest, as for the drive I think I grew accustomed to it and thought it was alright, until I replaced it with a GTV and given the age shows how wrong they got the Brera. The Q4 was handy in the snow though.

Serious question Zod, do you preferthe E90 dash,? I prefer the E46 myself.

Difficult question. It doesn't bowl me over, but I like the reduction in buttons. The new Fxx car dashes are a big improvement. Those I really do like.

The seats are terribly uncomfortable too, far too hard and unsupportive, not a patch on the 156.

The rest of the dash is nice though, could you get the tan leather for the seats?.

Early seats are very comfortable but not supportive in corners.
Later seats were more supportive and were available in tan.

I hated that ruched leather on the door cards of Mercs from that period. Tacky.
