Brilliant.

Anything with massive-engine-in-small-car is superb.

I wonder if it could be made to pass modern safety legislation. The clearance to the bonnet doesn't look too bad for pedestrian safety and IIRC the B-class is designed so that the engine is pushed under the cabin in a crash so it shouldn't compromise front crumple zones too much.

It's about time Mercedes built something properly loony.

It's 180kg heavier over the B200 CDI it's based on. Of which the rear axle must account for some of that. Propshaft (also E-Class) runs through the sandwich floor and it's claimed to manage 62mph in under 6.

I think if theyre going to bother creating a completly impratical B class they should go one step futher, rip the back seats out and make it mid engined. Might not be so under steery then.

Nice! Very silly, and must have been sooooo much fun to build.

(also, note to any British enginering companys... This is why we have a lack of young engineers in the UK. Companys in other countrys offer training and make it seem like a cool job, but in the UK you just blaim the schools and uni's for giving people a genral education)
Oh the irony biggrin

I posted this the other day in the other B-Class thread

Looks very cool, just a shame it will never make production frown

So, if you 2 bought a B class, that would double the number sold by MB last year in the UK wink

Very funny, but they actually sell a fair number. I see quite a lot around here, very popular with woman who use them on the school run.

The A class had one engine in the front and another in the back, the Brabus roadster had 2 engines joined to makes one engine in the back.
