Motoring highs and lows of 2010 - what were yours?

Highs : Getting over 100,000 miles in the wife's old Xantia.
Lows : Not being able to drive for 6+ weeks after breaking my knee. Not getting to a single motor race this season. The ever increasing volume of traffic on the M3 in the morning rush hour.
It wasn't a great year for driving...

Lows:
> Seemingly never ending bills with the Boxster, nothing too serious but just constantly it seemed like something needed replacing then just when i thought i had replaced everything i had a stone go through the radiator
> Exhaust falling off the Clio
> adding 3 points to my license
Highs:
> Had some great drives in the Boxster earlier in the year when the weather was good (May - June?)
> Getting the Z4 for a great price and generally being really impressed with the car

High: some silly early Sunday morning drives down the a507, sun rising, tyres squealing, grin widening
Realising that the low means I can start putting plans together to pick up a 182 trophy.
lows: exhaust disintegrating, wheel bearing seizing, and repairing these is gonna cost more than the car, gonna be carless til I can afford replacement
No job security (could go at any time) and small salary means I don't know or I'll afford the 182 this year or at all
If things go well, it's the HPC, trophy and lots of driving with the PH crew in 2011

High - Getting rid of some old cars
Getting a 740i - Something that can be tastefully modified
Low- The 964 leaving the family after 13 years
Cayenne being damaged by useless airport parking people
Things going a bit pear shaped with the Merc after an engine swap - leaving it off the road for now
And that's about it

high: Getting the Cupra chipped to 300bhp and ragging it round the macclesfield-buxton cat and fiddle road. never known a car that can pull itself out of a corner and up a steep hill like that before.
low: selling the Cupra for 5K less than I bought it for 18 months ago and settling in to a diesel estate. I'm getting old.
