Doesn't matter what the increase is it always is rounded up to 0.9p. What's that about?
I can think of one petrol station in the country that doesn't do this. Just the one mind!

you have to add vat on top of fuel duty so that's another bit which takes it up to 90p

£1.34 for something called vpower diesel at Shell. Never even heard of it and there was only one pump free with no normal type diesel.

On a side note - where's all the noise from the truckers and the media, wheres all those fuel prootesters of the early 2000's gone?

Most truckers cannot afford to protest simply because of the cost of fuel and also alot of those that were protesting have gone to the wall due to rising fuel costs and rates being cut. Plus alot of car drivers just think it`s `moaning truck drivers glogging up the roads`.

Also the leader of the original protest got utterly fked over by a rather long and aggressive "random" tax investigation

Our local Spar / Shell added 4p today - cheeky tw4ts. Think they must have added the VAT as well as the duty. Shell are mean't to set the price - Spar just get an admin fee for selling each ltr.
Prices haven't changed elsewhere in town other than the 1p duty.
So 126.9 and 129.9.
