Half of that's trim isn't it?

Presumably for people who don't evan look at the price list; you could buy the base spec and get it re trimmed for a quarter of that.

Top gear mag did this a few months back, Picked a few different cars and specd them up. I think it was the Mini, Audi A3 or Fiat 500 that came out worst.

I remember a great thread where people tried to make the worst value combinations which was rather amusing. Things like adding everything except air-con and painting them beige with awful wheels and hideous interiors were encouraged on the basic diesel models with autoboxes. Can't find it now.
