A quick Google and Wikipedia came up with this

"For a time, the last true, independently opening suicide doors on a mass produced car were fitted on the Ford Thunderbird four-door sedan from 1967 through 1971. The 1971 model was the last American production automobile to feature rear suicide doors, because after this time, safety concerns prevented their use"
Erm, nope.

The Supercab pick up trucks still have suicide rear doors.
Erm, yes.

The rear doors can't be opened without the front doors being open.
yes and arguably as the manufacturers get their trucks classified as commercial vehicles to avoid passenger automobile safety legislation, a pick up shouldn’t qualify smile

A few years ago, in the morning rush hour traffic circulating round l'Arc de Triomphe, the passenger in a 2CV hopped out briefly to buy a pack of Gauloises from an adjacent tabac, only to see the open passenger door removed by a passing van. The driver then leapt out to remonstrate with the van driver, whereupon the driver's door was also removed by a passing taxi. The resultant traffic jam took quite some time to clear.
