Is this true?

The graphics on the car look a little odd to be fair.

Bigger story here from the wail, expect comments of wasting budgets etc i cba to read their arcticle.

Another 150mph plus road test requirement on a motorway? It was the police that stopped (correctly I think - road testing should be on a track) road testing of cars on motorways (before speed limits). They described the road testing of a LeMan cobra, by an experienced racing driver on the M1in the 60's, when there were far less cars than today, as ridiculous and dangerous. When a policeman road tests a car on a motorway at even greater speed, without an emergency to justify, its OK as he is a good driver.

Just saw this car at the Autosport show, looks cool but almost certainly just for marketing purposes, especially as it's on Lotus press car/fleet registered plates wink
