What was this MG that I saw yesterday?
Discussion
Just looks like a generic Insignia type thing. Yawn.
Currently they have no marketplace, this gives them freedom to make something genuinely different. They don't have to worry about playing safe causing a drop in sales (as they have no sales in the first place).
A start would be RWD, it's an "MG" so meant to be "sporty" (haha) so why not make it RWD to try and get some enthusiast buyers something cheap to go for.

rwd apart from the f and tf when was the last time an mg was rwd it was in 1981 with the mg bgt and that basicly the same as the first ones out. They need to sell well in china so competing with kia, hyundai and other asian cars. If the made them different then there will be only a small market place for them however if they make them like well white goods ie kia ceed type car people will buy them. Give them time to first sell cars in china then hopefully mg will bring out more sportier models. Currently they have no marketplace, this gives them freedom to make something genuinely different. Anyway, for someone with an MG moniker, I would have thought you'd remember the not long departed MG ZTV8 which was RWD. Plus, as mentioned above, there was the failed MG SVT.
Oh yea forgot about thoese two really like the sv aswel not so keen on the zt v8 bit of a waste of time in my opinion havent seen one on the road. I been working on the mg zs today, timing belt, water pump, inlet manafold gasket, two new tyres was going to do discs and pads but could'nt be arsed so sorry brain not working after a long day.
