The MG SV has Fiat Punto headlights.

The Invicta S1 has VW Passat rear lights. (turned on their sides)

The Pagani Zonda has the same climate control unit & fascia as a Rover 45, oh and has rear indicators from a tractor.

Facts.

The steering wheel / door trims in that Elise seem to have been trimmed in one of William Woolard's old suits!
Wonder what that's called on the options list?

If your OH drives in to your (parked) car, it's your fault for parking it there - NOT her fault for NOT BLOODY LOOKING!!
I second that!
Thirded.... You got me thinking...

If your OH drives into anything it's your fault for annoying her so she wasn't concentrating and/or buying her the wrong sized car.

The VX220 uses the same wing mirrors as a Metro.

The VX220 uses the same airbag mechanism as a Lamborghini (Diablo I think?).

there isn't a single one of these alloy wheels in existence that isn't kerbed to buggery (the one in the photograph is a clay mock-up)

My 1987 Lotus Esprit:

Triumph TR7 wiper motors
Austin Princess steering column
MGB interior door handles
Morris Marina exterior door handles
Cortina steering rack
Citroen CX wing mirrors
Land Rover clutch slave cylinder
Rover SD1 rear lamps
Citroen Maserati transmission

Beat that.

Is that because the windows are also wound with wiper motors? IIRC that was the case with the Elan.

The rear lights from older TVR Chimaeras were sourced from Ford, who used them on the Fiesta.

If that same car isn't serviced, fluid levels drop or in a previous case all 4 tyres are not legal and she's pulled for it - it's still not her fault.

The K series engine, as found in several MG models, suffers from an unusually high rate of HGF. If you buy a Mazda RX8, you get a free Saudi oil field chucked in, as part of the deal.

Nope.

The Esprit uses a separate TR7 wiper motor to lift each headlamp.

The MK1 MR2 is the result of Toyota stripping an X1-9 and reverse engineering it. rolleyes

From leaving the production line to the first 100,000 miles or ten years a car will do the same amount of damage to the Ozone Layer as a heard of 30 ten year old dairy cows born the same day. silly
