How long before it's in the Classifieds!?
Only joking, hope you enjoy it! Must be a great feeling giving a car away but I can imagine it's better receiving it!
Would've been in the next day if I'd won, to fund an R32 with a few mods Only joking, hope you enjoy it! Must be a great feeling giving a car away but I can imagine it's better receiving it!
Though I guess putting at the end of your entry "I'd like to win the WRX so I can sell it to fund an R32 project", wouldn't go down too well
I will only but a car from the V.A.G range, so would only enter a 'Win a Car' comp to sell it to buy a VW/Audi
Quelle Surprise

"I will only buy a car from the vag range." Unless you are related to the owner or something i really dont get why you would say/do/think that.

They do offer a metallic blue option - albeit not the WR Blue as has already been said.
It's a much, much deeper blue - almost a blue-purple. The official name escapes me at present...
I assume that blue ^^^ is for the UK market?
I can't help seeing an Evo 6 here. Just me?It's a much, much deeper blue - almost a blue-purple. The official name escapes me at present...

Blimey, you know how to make the winner feel good!
Hey, I wouldn't turn down the chance of a free car like that at all and congratulations to the guy, he is obviously very happy with the car. However, the old Impreza is one of my favourite cars, and it seems Subaru is willing to throw that away in order to chase the coat-tails of the Germans. You love your Mercs, and if Mercedes decided to throw away everything they have built and stod for and target a completely different demographic, say young kids looking for a first car (cheaper build to make them affordable, "chequered flag" roofs, a list of dealer fit "cool" decals, fuzzy dice hangers, tiny engines to save on fuel etc) you'd be a bit miffed too!
Subaru really built their name on rallying. The Legacy and to a greater extent the Impreza were the cars that took them out of the business of making cars for farmers and into the business of making gloriously fast and uncompromising road cars, developed in rallying. Now they have pulled out of rallying it's like their past does not matter anymore. It must have more leather, more gadgets, it must not look like a rally car, it must blend in and be stealthy, it must be more compliant and friendly to live with. It has to be a competitor for the Germans, and the price must go up. This to me, is not what the Subaru brand heritage is about.
