Just bought myself a Ferrari F355 [pics included]
Discussion
It's a 1992 K-reg, Rosso red, cream/black leather, manual.
I'm told it's quite rare, it's a pre-launch model so I'm told. It was the prototype model that Ferrari themselves took upto the Tyrol mountains for reliability testing. However, I have noticed a few things......it doesn't seem to be that fast?
I've been reading reviews on the F355 and people said it was blisteringly fast, 0-60 in 5 seconds, top end of 180mph. Thing is though, mine doesn't feel that quick. The owner told me the mass air-flow sensor needed replacing. I think I have a broken exhaust too, but the previous owner again assured me that it was an after-market "Veilside" special one-off piece. I mean, don't get me wrong it is VERY loud but it doesn't sound like other F355's I've heard.
Also...is it true that Citroen Saxo's are quicker than F355's from 0-40mph? I think so because I've had alot of these VTR's and even standard 1.1 Saxo's beat me off the line, although admittedly I was going uphill and I know the F355 has a b*gger of a clutch.
Anyway guys, I paid £49,750 for the car. I think I might have paid slightly too much, but considering it is a pre-launch model AND a prototype that Ferrari used I think it'll be worth a fortune in about 5 years time.
Here are pics of my pride and joy,

As you can afford a Ferrari I'm surprised you didn't know...you need to call up a dealership who will give you a code to unlock the 'full power' feature which is basically like Ferrari's version of nitrous oxide but slightly different.
Lol'd as soon as I saw the first picture and that's after a night out on the booze
