OP, don't worry about the haters - they're just jealous. I got the same with my Aston. Not content with rubbishing it, they even had a go at the chassis - FFS, it's a PH favourite! And look at it!! Peasants.

Jealousy really is an ugly thing. Not quite as ugly as that though. biggrin

Nope, it defiantly isn't a replica...
You mean it has "NOT A REPLICA" painted on each side in large letters?

I too bought a rare prototype, this is the actual test model used before they launched the F40 with only subtle changes.

Wanna race? This is no prototype but a very very very rare version of the world famous McLaren F1. Only cost £37,000. Cheap as chips.

I thinks yours is a replica. They sold you a right dummy there!

You should have done your research before you bought it - like me. I can't believe you fell for it man!

I actually quite like the look of that paperbag If you can get beyond the fact that it's a fake Aston, I think it doesn't look too bad. tumbleweedbangheadgetmecoat

After reading this thread I kept having a niggling suspicion that the provenance of my own recently purchased slice of Italian exotica may not be entirely 100%....

It does sound a bit 'flat' for a V12...

All this continental exotica is very nice, but my recent acquisition of a slice of vintage British class is a cut above. Unusually built in Sunderland, rather than Coventry.

That Morse fella must have been smaller than he looked on the telly though, the traditional Jag values of space, pace and grace seem to have passed my example by.

It was 11 years ago I started my own Business. There have been many many ups and downs however much hard graft and toil I'm finally able to own the Lamborghini of my dreams......

Unusually for a Revention there have already been a number of owners according to the seller. This particular car has been owned by Valentino Balboni, Dario Benuzzi, Fat Bloke down the pub, Enzo Ferrari's granddaughter (Agnes) and quite surprisingly, The Lord God Almighty himself. Thankfully all have used Lambo main dealers for servicing issues.

I can't believe the jealousy and hatred of some PH'ers. Any fool can see that this is the real deal.

On a serious note I would actually quite like to own the mini F40, i reckon it would be a laugh getmecoat

That's a nice touch - wish other dealers would take note, least then you get to see it before prep.

My best was recent

When buying the car "ooh you pushed a good deal there, you won't worry about depreciation for a yr"

I just nodded

6 months later

"markets changed a bit, here is an insulting trade in offer" (which I knew was low and the car would be back on forecourt for same I paid for it)

Sold it private
What on EARTH are you dribbling on about???? rofl
