Yes, its called MINI but it's not mini in size, haven't we all got over that by now?
I see their range as a kind of modern reincarnation of Austin's Issigonis-designed 'pattern', but IMO they still need a properly small car (Aygo/IQ-size) to complete the range. They're not bad cars. This Countryman is like a modern 'Landcrab'.Twincam16 said:
Don't you find the fact that it only has four seats for a car in a class where five has been the norm since the dawn of time more than a tad galling?
Wife had a CTR - which I never knew until I checked - was only a 4 seater! No seat belt for the middle and the V5 specifically states it is a 4 seater only. In the 2+ years we had it, never only ever had a problem once. So its not really that bad after all... different cars, but its pretty rare for me at least to have 4 passengers in a car!yellowbentines said:
Shmee, tell us did you get carried away with optional extras?! I know that personalisation is part of the charm of the MINI brand but I thought charging the likes of £155 for a boot floor (to cover the storage 'tub') was a bit much!
My Cooper S ALL4 came to a flat £27,000 on the invoice (after dealer discount from £27,900), so yes that's about £5,400 in extras at list price which is pretty much all Chilli Pack and Media Pack and then a couple of small extras, including the boot floor which is pretty much a must have.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
