I've always liked the G-Wagen. Kinda like Mercedes' answer to the LR Defender. I'd take one like this, steel wheels and all.

none of that blingy-bling bling stuff for me, just doesn't seem right on a car like this.....

What a joke of an advert for a £100k motor car. It makes me sad that it mentions 600bhp and loads of ste pointless ripspeedesque adornments, but nowhere does it mention the history or what sort of motor is powering that thing.

However they do tell me that I can buy on finance and get 7 days free insurance banghead

I remember back in the 80s my dad chopped a 500 SEC in for a GWagon. UNSTOPPABLE piece of kit.

Amazing 'car' biggrin

Not bad cars...However Mercedes couldn't sell them for love nor money when they first brought them to the country, more than twenty years ago....hence everyone from the receptionist up had one as a company car at the Milton Keynes head office...if you want ruffty tuffty by a Toyota or a Landy Defender ...if you want ruffty tuffty that will go off road, with leather and aircon buy a Range Rover/Range Rover Sport!.....However if you need a 4x4 with leather without driving a cross channel ferry buy an Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro

I'm all for choice and beauty being in the eye of the beholder.......but what total cock would spend more money than it would cost to buy a Ferrari 458 Italia for Sunday morning, a Range Rover Sport for the wife to do the school run, a Fiat 500 Abarth for the Nanny, a BMW 535d for everyday use....and a TR5 for when you want a bit of classic motoring........than buy a Puch badged as a Mercedes that was out of date twenty years ago WTF!!!

According to Merc UK a G55 AMG is £117,460.00 OTR as a 'basic' car. Is the Brabus that much more?

How much do they charge for this type? I think it would be ideal for clearing the numpties out of middle and outside lanes of the M4 on my to work biggrin

And there's a G65 coming too, along with a twin-turbo'd V12 developing over 600bhp. Don't know the price, but expect it to be a lot!

Those are the rear brakes on close-up. Difficult to tell how large the front disks are as the wheels are so large.

Car does nothing for me however.

To be honest for the prices the top models go for I'd buy a Bowler Wildcat and get a custom interior made to measure.
