From my poor photoshop effort......

Satin black or satin silver mirrors?

As I'm getting them wrapped as it is WAY cheaper than getting the new one sprayed.

black any day. Silver makes it look like you have been to the breakers and couldn't be arsed to respray them.

You have been to the breakers haven't you? And you can't be arsed to spray it can you? biggrin sorry couldn't resist.

How about the same colour as the car? :P

Out of those two though, the silver. The black in my opinion just makes it look like the unpainted plastic mirrors you get on a bottom of the range model.

Black.

What colour are they now without the photoshoppedness?

One is body colour, one is silver from the car it came from.

you should paint the mirrors the same colour as the rest of the car.

You got that car for fec k all and you've put in a lot of effort to make it a million times better than it was, so continue the theme and effort just prep, spray and finish those off in the proper colour.

Great project by the way, well done so far.

Black. I think black might even look better than body colour (nice to have contrasting bits).

Now start another poll for the windscreen wipers.

Wish I could change my vote. I may just be influenced quite easy, but I've since changed my mind to black. :P

The silver looks quite tacky. The black less so, but still cheapens the look of the car to be honest. What do you prefer?

Is that an annodised wiper spoiler from 1994? In that case M3 replica mirrors in Halfords rattle can (three tones darker) than the body colour.

Out of the two I'd go for black, but if it was me I'd be painting or wrapping them in body colour. Can you not just get a rattle can in that colour and do it yourself?

Absolutely. Get a rattle can and they'll look decent enough. Black looks cheap and silver looks st.

I'm beginning to think I ought to just paint body colour.

Absolutely not silver. Body coloured preferably, but black if you must.
