Cracking set of pictures there, looks like a very dramatic part of the world.
You could have cleaned the car before you went out though wink.

Fantastic pictures. I know this part of the world well as it is 20 minutes away. We need to arrange a northern run out stopping for a nice lunch somewhere. < need to find a car first though >

Thanks for the comments, and yes, another drive oot in the area would be great, but you do need good weather to appreciate the surroundings!

Here are a couple more, something similar, plus one each of Ingleborough (flat topped) and Whernside (rocky ascent) both of which I climbed this year!

Think this is the best photo.....

The arches look insanely good in that shot. They V12V is such a pure piece of sports car design, everything just looks so 'right'.

Out of interest (I'm sure its been done to death!), how does the V12V compare to your previous 997 GT3 as a drivers car? Not an owner sadly and I don't think many dealers will be fooled into letting this Uni student have a test drive of the two...

Hi, basically the Gt3 is a go-kart, great on track but needs revving to get the best out of it and on public roads isn't the best solution.
The V12V is a beast, heavier but not so much so that you cannot corner quick, tons of torque makes it easier to drive and the V12 sounds awesome. So much more an accomplished car all round.
And yes, those arches do stand out biggrin

Possibly my favourite road. So fast down past White Scar caves and then when you get to the open twisty bits it's brilliant. Even better on a bike yes

Ha, I was there last month. The roads around there are just fantastic. I drove up to Reith from there on some of the best roads I've ever experienced. I parked in the car park near the viaduct and didn't take a photo of viaduct with car, but this one was taken close to Pateley Bridge.
