Really enjoyed my first trip to the Alps and Austria in a long while last month. Car was brilliant, really came alive and encouraged me to push hard on the passes (where safe!). And not uncomfortable at all getting there and back which was arguably more amazing!!

Same colours but different GT3 probably a few years ago, not much in it over the pass wink

Cheers fellas! beerbeer

Feel very privileged, even though I’ve had two GT3 previously there’s something special about this one...

We stopped there last week en route to Dijon. I trailered so that I could take additional tyres - slicks, wets, etc - as all weathers were expected.

Dijon it self was a bit of a Porsche-fest biggrin

What a circuit though! A mini concept of Spa/Ring in a safer setting...

Yeah - really did enjoy it. It is not a big circuit, however it has fast corners and lots of elevation changes (a la Spa) which add a lovely dimension to it. Plus the corners come at you thick and fast a bit like the second half of the ring....but it does have run off areas and large gravel traps so you can lean on the corners for max grip without having a barrier 6ft away from you.

You also enter the long main straight at 90+ mph and accelerate to 150+ (depending on car) before throwing out the anchors for corner 1 and hoping you make the turn and do not end up in the gravel trap!

Great track and if you can combine with Magny-Cours like RMA used to do, fantastic pair of circuits.

Gratuitous Reims tow-shot.

Great tow vehicle. I had two of those, above was first. Apparently they can tow at 90 when you're late ofr a ferry. So I'm told.

Yes I've heard the same rumours.

They are excellent tow cars. Also once you drop all the rear seats they are cavernous for taking spare sets of wheels, tools, luggage and other paraphernalia.

If you get a nice run through to Spa or the 'Ring, then I always want to be in the track car, but as soon as the weather turns, Cup 2s are a bit of a liability and nightmare. Anyway, every track day will be dry next year... I hope.
