Please, please correct me, in the above vid the red line on the 991ttS is 7k yet it clearly goes above it on a couple of occasions! I take it this is NOT an issue?

Ha ha, no, seriously, I never actually look at my rev limit 'cause I never hit it, do they usually breach the indicated limit without issues? And if so, is it if the needle hits the top end where the issues are raised?

Thanks for posting, great to watch. So the 140k car beat the 220k car and lost to the 240k car, which has way way more power, not bad for the humble 911 : ) it did. And people moan about its price. The fact it's even in that company states a lot.

More interesting is the £100k 991 GT3 recently winning 2013 Evo drivers COTY ahead of the F12 and SLS.....

I disagree.

Winning as a driver's car is subjective.

But acceleration is fact.

It is subjective but the GT3 was voted outright winner above the other 8 contenders, including F12 and SLS, never coming lower than second place by anyone in any category. It has also proved to be quicker on track than the Macca 12c.

Yes, acceleration is fact, but were all 3 drivers the same ability having regard to the launch systems being deactivated for the test.

I am both a 911 and Ferrari fan and having recently driven an F12 it takes a lot more skill to drive this fantastic machine quicker than a Turbo S. On typical fast UK A and B roads there is no doubt that the 991 Turbo S would be quickest of the three.

That video stopped working from YouTube for some reason. But they put it back up.

SLS Black Series vs Ferrari F12 vs 991 Turbo S.
