Rather agree with the above sentiment, here’s one of mine that I took on the way to Boxengasse.

It’s definitely in a much better place on the mouth/trousers scale than many other/newer cars.

Yes, in addition to the 993RS Clubsport replica 3.8 which I still have (but which is for sale now).

The GT3 is a year 2000 model, Comfort, with 90k miles on the clock. It has been crashed on circuit at least once or twice, and been repaired by the best in the business.

It now has a full Manthey Racing set up - K400 carbon fibre induction kit, lightweight flywheel and exhaust, Manthey KW dampers, 6 pot calipers with Alcon floating discs, cup diff - all the mods you would want. Pushing about 400bhp.

Off to Zandvoort in it tonight for a 2 day track day - my first time on circuit with it! Can't wait.

Cheers,

Joel
I would be interested in your club sport replica, drop me a PM

Great car love mine a rare car nowadays as in manual normally aspirated and not silly quick as most performance cars are today. Its great watching the rev counter go round and the noise increasing its not a blur and a scare!

Nice collection you have there. I remember your 996 turbo from forums when I had mine.

SY is a superb colour for the 996 GT3; just need the Cup style rear spoiler and BBS split rims and it is perfection. wink

It went to auction a few times not selling for £55k.
Must have sold for low £50’s (if that) finally and that’s the seller that has it now. He must have hoped for an easy flip.

Prices are softening across the board but it’s also that time of year now, when they always get cheaper anyway.

Comfort with chairs not buckets, maybe on original suspension etc.

To add cage, buckets, fresh coil overs, etc, you’re looking at least £6k without labour. All the other usual things would need checking out too obviously.

£50k is still a good price for a straight lowish mileage GT3 though.

I also seem to recall he had it advertised at around £65k.

Agreed though, it’s decent value at £49,995. Fit a tequipment cage and a set of buckets and it’ll make a great car.

It’s looking that way. Juno thinks he’s being funny - I’m humouring the old bugger - until he gets his RS.
