Why would anybody want to sell, not a better true sports car out there.

What’s the tyre pressure for Cup2s on the road? (996.2 GT3)

Just had a new set fitted and I opted for 33.5 front, 35.5 rear. They don’t seem to be as grippy as my last set of Cup2s. Maybe simply not enough heat? (Done about 100 miles with the new set)

FWIW on track for me it’s 32psi front and back.

Handbook says 33 front and 39 back.

Cheers

What are people’s thoughts on the current crop of cars for sale?
Is there a particular one that you’re interested? If so pm me and I’ll see if I got it in my database. (though I stopped tracking the cars in the classified about a year ago)

New tyres can be a bit slippy for a while, maybe a bit more 'scrubbing in' required ??

I'm looking for a track car, buckets and cage are a must. I probably don't value a low miler pristine example too highly but by the same measure I don't want to buy something rough when the same money gets something mint.

I suspect a 996.2 with the stronger engine and gearbox would suit me better but obviously a lot of 996.1 aren't completely standard these days anyways.

One car we've looked at had some bad panel gaps and rough paintwork, that doesn't bother me as long as it's reflected in the price.

I actually was considering a CAT D car but it has disappeared from the classifieds again.

Any colour except Polar/Silver.

Got your email.

I’ll take a look at the Classified and cross-reference with my database. Will reply later.

FWIW and IIRC for the 997.1 GT3 on Cup 2's the spec is 29 F, 33 R.

No longer on the market it seems. Lovely project for him but a little too far away from what I’m looking for.

Slippy's former car has been on a couple of track days I've been at. Looks very nice.
