Yes, this is std GTS -20, and it's stance is just perfect. As for the ride, it feels very nearly as firmly damped as a 991 GT3, just with less road noise..!

This GTS has definitely got less sound proofing, as you can hear stones flicking up inside the wheel arches far more than you can in a standard C2S.

Regarding the ride height, Porsche quote std PASM as being -10, with -20 being optional on the S, but I cant find a new 911 that's available on standard ride height....Have I missed something..?
Did you get that at Bolton ? I saw they had a gts ready for delivery in that colour very early last week.

To everybody on here who has taken delivery of the 991.2GTS can you confirm which tyres yours came with, as i've read positives on the new Pirelli track spec tyres which managed a 7' 22' Ring time or are these tyres an option.. Thanks in advance.

Mine came on the standard tyre, the Pirelli P Zero. The option tyre is the Pirelli P Zero Corsa, but in my opinion, while it may be 4s faster around a 20km track, it'll just increase road noise....

I had the new ones (2016 stamped) on my old 991.1GTS John and they were 'so so''. Apparently much better than the old ones but in the wet I wasn't confident in pushing the car at all. In the dry they were fine.

Unless another manufacturer has made an N rated tyre to fit, your only choice is going to be the P-Zero.

On another note, I had a 3 hour drive in my GT4 the other day in the wet on the Dunlops from North to South Wales... Lord above was I a shaking wreck when I got home. Michelin Cup 2's on order!

OPC Hatfield have got their Miami 991.2 GTS demonstrator on the AUC site already! Miami Blue with Alcantara delete.....surprised an OPC has gone for that spec but I guess with Miami you maybe want an understated interior.

I went through the main Porsche UK site and searched for 991 GTS...you do need to tick the "Show Demonstration Vehicles" box.

I think would look a lot lighter than that in the flesh. Looks almost Mexico in the pictures.

Ad says you can't have it until 2018, seems a long time?

Why on earth would you delete the centre lock wheels? Madness.

I also can't understand why people don't spec the multifunction steering wheel with it being so neat and stylish these days.

I'd be willing to bet you could buy that car very soon if you wanted it.....

I noticed that...I think they have to run them for three months so imagine its a typo. Not quite sure what the rules are....they get VAT relief so presumably HMRC have rules about and then I am sure Porsche GB expect them to run a certain amount of demo cars.

Pretty sure this is the DP's car, spoke to him before he took delivery of it at Brands a few weeks ago. Not sure he knew what spec he was getting.

DP is about the only person at a dealership that can afford to run a 911 as a demo because of the tax! The senior guys at my OPC run Cayenne or Panamera Hybrids because of this.

Hi gents,

Here's my proposed spec, what do you think?

http://www.porsche-code.com/PJV5QE68

Only things I'm rather undecided on as follows:

No LED headlights, appreciate they're great but also very expensive
Interior and bucket seats, a very personal choice but I love the look of the seats and contrast with exterior colour although I appreciate no GTS interior pack
No reversing camera, trying to reign in the budget a bit
No cruise control, I never use it and believe it can be retrofitted if a proposed new owner wanted it I believe
Privacy glass, quite expensive and not a massive fan of it myself

You have a very similar spec to mine in terms of interior options.

I wish I'd chosen the bucket seats, I just went with std sport seats plus, but I wish I had more adjustment available to the seat base - I know how comfortable the buckets are.

I would urge you to get the rear wheel steering option, really transforms the dynamics, and makes the car feel more nimble than it otherwise would. The big clue here is that its standard on the GT3 and Turbo S.

Standard xenons are more than adequate, the LED's are good, but not good enough for me to tick the box...

I'm delighted with my carbon MF steering wheel, good choice.

I love the black and bordeaux leather interior you've chosen, but despite being relatively expensive, the GTS interior pack with alcantara is what defines the GTS models...tricky dilemma which one to choose....

Yes I know but I just love the classy look of the smooth leather. I appreciate from a resale POV might not be the best decision but I'm going to enjoy it I guess!

My initial spec was manual, buckets,no RWS,GTS interior carmine and a few bits and bobs and after a PEC day a couple of months ago i switched to PDK,standard sport plus seats and RWS.Depending on how fast a driver you are RWS is transformative at all speeds in agility and less steering input at lower speeds. My only regret is that i dropped the buckets as by adding the extra cost of PDK and RWS my self imposed budget had been broached..
If my intention was to keep it for a couple of years at least i would have specced PCCBs but its looking likely that my GTS won't be with me for no more than six months so it does not make much difference in my situation either way..

Would people go sports buckets or PDLS if you had to choose between?
Definitely the buckets.
