525bhp! That's a heck of a mod!!

I test drove an M3 and really wanted to like it having had the 2 previous generations but it did nothing for me. I think it was the sound with the synthesised effect which I really didn't like. With the aftermarket exhaust, does the speaker sound change as well or is it switched off
Not really... http://www.dmsautomotive.com/upgrades/bmw-m4-f84/

And thats without the benefits of a lightweight exhaust system...

Issue with M4 is it just can't put the power down it has. And residuals are terrible.

How did you fair with your M4 B1ggest? (or maybe I shouldn't ask) rofl Hopefully you do better with GTS residuals.

Looks absolutely stunning in carmine. Is that just the angle of the photo or is something going on with the ride height on your car? All the other photos in this post (and my own car) appears to have more 'air' between the wheels and arches.

Standard pasm on mine (not the higher -10) yet it appears higher (excuse the dirt!)

I have a new GTS with the standard -20mm pasm and appears to have less gap between the tyre and the wheel arches than yours according to the photos..Imv yours looks to have the optional -10mm pasm....If i was you i would double check with your OPC to make sure.

My front may be on axle lift on the picture, but the rear still looks higher. Looking at the listed options on my invoice, it includes the FOC ones (GT sport steering wheel, silver instrument dials) but makes no mention of 'PASM ride height lowered by 10mm).

How else can I check? It was a dealer stock car so I didn't spec it myself.

Here's a couple of other pictures which may reveal more.

Better than some, as my cars are always kept perfect, which is a big plus when selling, I removed most mods and sold which also got money back (carbon parts and Exhaust) but still lost 27% in 20 months, which is a bit eye-watering, but I've had worse...

I really do the car thing as a father and son thing, and for the time we spent together with the M4, at shows, road trips, modding research/fitting made it worth every penny, and made some good friends along the way, hopefully the GTS will carry that on...

A few Q's for 991.2 GTS owners:
-anyone get a discount or anything thrown in?
-does the glass sunroof option creak/rattle, add much to the experience, or result in other issues?
-is there a frontseat childseat solution if spec'ing bucket seats?
-are the 18 way sportseat plus seats worth a 2k premium over the 4way?
-does the silver GT pack stitching /extended dashboard leather stitching reflect badly in the front window?
Thanks

I am not sure if anyone has had the coolant recall. I bought my car in Cardiff, but my nearest dealer is Leeds. It was collected on Thursday morning to be delivered back to me on Friday afternoon, no problem as I do not need my car in the week.

Just had a call saying it is taking longer than expected, and you will get it back on Monday, no courtesy car available.

Just remembered why I only bought one Porsche from Leeds in the past...

My car was kept on the docks for an extra 2 weeks for the recall check apparently.

The red one is lower than mine, and mine is definitely-20, has it settled with mileage? That looks GT3 low...

Regarding the seats, I currently have 18 way and think they are very nice but had standard 4 way before and thought they were so comfortable. I have specced 4 way on my GTS and will not miss my 18 way at all. Many people have the 18 way and swear by them but for me they're a luxury that I don't need. If you need lumbar support, go for the cheaper 14 way

I've got the silver stitiching and there's no reflection.

I think the carmine red cars suspension looks lower than usual due to the camera angle and that the weeks aren't straight on. There's also a camber on the road that would also reduce the "appreared clearance" of the front wheel. Add all those together and that's why it looks very low (I really should get out more)

I have silver stitching on the Crayon cabriolet and there's no reflection. Nice understated interior

-anyone get a discount or anything thrown in? Discount Unlikely IMO but you may get a set of glasses or coffee cups if you're lucky.
-does the glass sunroof option creak/rattle, add much to the experience, or result in other issues? My first GTS no, my current one yes. I'm in the minority here and I'll get it sorted soon. It does make the interior lighter and more airy, but not essential imv.
-is there a frontseat childseat solution if spec'ing bucket seats?
-are the 18 way sportseat plus seats worth a 2k premium over the 4way? 4-way every day for me. They sit lower than 18-way and 2k less plus are comfortable. I'm 6' with 32" leg
-does the silver GT pack stitching /extended dashboard leather stitching reflect badly in the front window? No not at all.
Thanks
