If you have broad shoulders try the folding buckets first as I found they push your shoulders too forward, shame as they are great apart from that. If you are a broader build the lightweight buckets are more comfortable imo.

Ive owned both and both comfortable .

Folding does pip LWB for comfort marginally for my frame and allows better access to rear , but does wear quite easily on edge if not very careful .

But LWB have height adjustment and look "better " or at least more modern ..... The folding bucket is about an 8 year old design now .

I'm currently back on LWB

Do you think these are standard silver or satin aluminium ?

I'd love to see a good picture of the 2 side by side

I think they are standard. There were pictures of satin wheels on the guards red demo car a few pages ago, I'll try and find them, meanwhile.........

Does anyone have any thoughts on alcantara covered steering wheels? How quickly do they look grubby, do they smell over time etc?

I am a big fan and hope they offer the Touring Pack also with alcantara wheel and geerknob. Alcantara is easy to keep clean and fresh - using a slightly wet microfibre towel inclduing a hint of dishwashing liquid (there is a youtube video on this too)

I fyou have clean hands and don't eat whilst you're driving the wheels should stay in great condition. It can get a bit worn but there are plenty of tips on keeping alcantara clean/looking good. It's well worth the small extra hassle IMHO!

My car is 3 years old and has done 12,000 miles but the Alcantara wheel is still in excellent condition - I'm careful when i drive and avoid using the car with dirty hands!

I imagine that cars that are used on track a lot might have much greater wear on the wheel.

DrS are you October build? I've heard that the X90 is more likely to be available next year.
Have you had any more info recently on when its likely to be available? I'm October too and specs will need to be finalised relatively soon.

Having just said that I see you're not in the UK so your situation may well be different!
My dealer has not yet confirmed final build date. He wanted to manage it such that I get Touring Pack and PTS. I remain cautiously optimistic

The issue here is there is no such car available ?

I have not seen or heard any strong news about a wingless 4 seater GT3 still.
