Don't tell anyone, but I'm also thinking about Comfort Seats! Get in, sit back, and relax (with a mental sound track)....

18-way or the standard 4-way?

Very well put together video comparing the 991.1 with the gen2 - It's an insightful and detailed piece of journalism that points out the engineering and design nuances very effectively. However, I must warn you it's quite technically challenging in parts .

I can't put my finger on it, but there were a couple of things that made it compelling viewing.

! However the answer kindly given by Tony to my question above has resulted in me finally jumping off the high fence and landing firmly with both feet on the PDK side.I fully realise i might regret this difficult decision but deep down i had already decided due to the brilliance of the PDK on my new GTS.
Now i just have to climb up another equally tall fence with Racing yellow on one hard side and a nice soft safe landing on the other Guards, White and GT silver side.Unfortunately as one gets older a nice safe soft landing appears more and more appealing..confused..
I've changed from GT Silver to GR, the GT3 I was passenger in was GR and I fell in love with the colour straight away it's just mind blowing in the flesh, the 3RS was white and didn't look anything special imo

Oh and just glad I'd spec lift would not like to own a car without it it's so low at the front

Late to the party, but was offered a '17 car by the DP last night so bit of a hurry up to get the spec agreed this morning at the dealership.

So here are the bones of the final spec:
Guards Red Clubsport
Black leather with red stitching, belts and painted vents.
Sports bucket seats, carbon interior pack.
PDK and PCCB, axle lift, wheels in satin platinum.
Few other bits and pieces but super excited abut getting the slot and haven't had the sleepless nights fretting as some of you guys clearly have!

Roll on November.

While on a family shopping expedition today looking for a new bike for myself i happened on a new 718 in Lava orange in the parking lot and i thought it looked absolutely amazing..To those of you who have followed my posts know my love/hate opinion of Lava and based on today i love it and seriously considering it on my new GT3.
I feel its going to be the dark horse colour on the GT3..Any thoughts on this..?

I think it could look very well. Whilst skiing in Obergurgl this year the hotel had a Turbo in Lava that I passed in the car park every time I left the hotel and it grew on me. However I think the more polished (by that I mean shiny) look of the turbo with its polished wells might help lift the colour. The toned down GT3 might not carry it quite as well.

In this vid she drives up a mountain pass but not before eating at a restaurant because her stomach is growling. She'd make me bloody growl! smile

What would you give her, out of ten?!
I'd give her one!

I'd love to go Orange but I just don't think it suits the gt3. Perhaps because we're so used to seeing gt3 RS' in that colour. Racing Yellow imo looks better, more bold and purposeful.

You know what I'm having John but I'm a chicken sh*t!

Got Lava on my RS - I absolutely love it and I usually get bored of colours very quickly - I'd deffo spec it again and think it would work perfectly on the GT3 with all those black accents - it's a brilliant colour that polishes up really well and changes depending on light / angle - it can go from orange to deep red as you walk round the car - proper GT colour IMHO smile

Very hard colour to photograph - I think this is why people think it isn't as nice as it actually is in reality.
