You can get a child seat in, but Porsche say you can't, probably for legal reasons and airbag safety. I'm not sure you're allowed/should have rearward facing child seats in the front if you have airbags. PS You can get an airbag deactivation switch fitted to Porsches.

You can but my guess if that an OPC might not do it on a car with buckets. Edited by 2010spy on Monday 20th November 17:24
I had the deactivation on my Boxster Spyder, with the Folding Buckets. That was seven years ago? However, as I'm writing this I'm thinking that I'm making it up and it was another car completely! And my Spyder is in my mother in laws garage so I can't even go and look. Hope that's helpful.

Thanks for the info. From reading some other forums the issue appears to be inbuilt airbags into the seat. I really don't want to go with the standard seats but I obviously don't want to jeopardise my child's safety with the sports buckets in the event of an accidenthttps://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/l...

My memory serves me correct. This is what I posted in 2012...
"With all the usual caveats about not relying on this e-mail (i.e. I am not giving you any advice only telling you what I have done) I have a Spyder and bought a Recaro car seat which works for us. It fits in and is securely fastened. If you are struggling to find anything, I will dig out the model number. I had the airbag de-activation with in as well (about £500 from memory)."
I don't think it has side airbags, but will check.

Apologies if you have seen this, it’s the last model so a few years old but if you were wondering about diviated stitching 11 minutes in might convince you

Yes I agree, I’ve always found that the quality of stitch and tension management of the Juki DDL 8100 E overlock machine to be second to none - amazing machines Apologies if you have seen this, it’s the last model so a few years old but if you were wondering about diviated stitching 11 minutes in might convince you

Wow, I hope my GR car looks as good as the one in the picture above.
Its in the dealership just awaiting Richard Tippler's magic fingers on Monday. I might have OD'ed on GR in the interior.
Shock horror..! You forgot to tick the Guards red instrument dials and Sport chrono clock..An oversight or an exercise in self-restraint me thinks..?Its in the dealership just awaiting Richard Tippler's magic fingers on Monday. I might have OD'ed on GR in the interior.
