Wow, I hope my GR car looks as good as the one in the picture above.

Its in the dealership just awaiting Richard Tippler's magic fingers on Monday. I might have OD'ed on GR in the interior.
Bloody hell! Each to their own (as you got a golden ticket wink )
But that is one eyeful of gurads red for me Id have lost all the dash inserts/central console inlays and just had Air vent surrounds in GR along with the seat inserts.

They do say lots of red makes you drive more aggressively - I guess its a good job you bought a GT3 to do it in then biggrin driving

Congratulations - and lovely that its a spanish variety too, enjoy your heel and toeing you lucky barstool!!!

I do like Guards Red - classic Porsche colour. But I think I prefer it on the exterior to the interior.

Carmine also looking classy.

Guards is great, my 991.2 GT3 is guards as is my CGT, but that interior is OTT

Glad you all like my choices.... thank god for being different. The Porsche interiors are always Black and dull... just cheering myself up, whilst driving it.... No regrets from me

Congratulations. Not sure I'd be this brave but really great to see there are GT3 owners who boldly go...
Great choice with the manual. Enjoy your stunning car

It's only trim anyway so hardly going to be that bad regardless if turns out you or anyone doesn't like it!

I have been watching this forum since I was told I was first on the "disappointed list" back in March this year after the launch in Geneva....

I am now pleased to say, I had "the phone call" whilst over in Vegas celebrating the start of the last year in my 40's, literally on my birthday morning, to say I had a Feb build slot!!! gob smacked and needless to say it did ace my already planned helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon!

So happy, but now the hard decision's begin, and you feel like you gotta get it right and after reading most of the last 50 pages of this thread and different spec's this morning suffering from Jet Lag, I'm no nearer what to go for....

My current Gen1 991GT3 (bought as I didn't think I would get the call) is in white, which I love, and has 18 way comforts, PCCB, FAL and a few other bits and I was going similar in Carmine Red but it all seems like you have to go full buckets and club sport or it may not do as well as others in holding value.

I do like a bit of comfort so I guess Its going to be a long weekend of chewing over configs now, but I cant wait, let the jet lag continue!

I've got the same weired taste wink. I think for a track car this looks great. Maybe a bit OTT for a daily but for a toy, this looks great

Fixed buckets rule smile they're very comfy and fit my back perfectly being of slim build, the main (slight) problem is the hard suspension

I’m getting a comfort spec,I want to drive the car
Not look at it in the garage wishing my back
Wasn’t knackered from driving. It.
I really wouldn’t listen to a lot of hysteria on here about spec,I spoke to a few dealers and your talking a few grand come resale time difference.
If you don’t fancy buckets don’t buy them, you’re not alone.

I have the 18 ways in my gen1 and they are grippy enough for me ( slim build ). I do not have a iffy lower back myself but if you do its advisable to somehow get a extended test drive ( 2hrs ) with both sets of seats, this is however tricky to do. There would nothing worse though than buying a car you feel uncomfortable in. And if the 3k is accurate on resale re 18 ways versus buckets then for that pittance any buyer should just go for what suits them.

If I do get an allocation I will probably opt for the buckets next time due to it being a weekend fun toy and not a daily..I try for a test drive, if its possible.

I put buckets in the gt4 and it was a mistake for me.
Some find them very comfortable so it’s a very personal choice.
But I really wouldn’t worry about a lot of stuff written on here.Spec the car for yourself, not to impress a bunch of internet strangers.
